Crabtree Brewing 4th of July Pig Roast

Celebrate the 4TH OF JULY at the Crabtree Brewery. Bring the whole family to experience a great view of the fireworks without the crowds. In celebration of the 4th of July, the brewery has arranged a pig roast for everyone to enjoy from the local farmer that takes our spent grains. Jeff brewed up some root beer for the kids to enjoy and of course.... lots of beer specials.

Summerfest in the Rockies

SummerFest in the Rockies is a community event that is held annually the second weekend in July in downtown Loveland. SummerFest in the Rockies kicks off on Friday evening with a wine tasting and entertainment on the plaza at the Foote Lagoon. Participants enjoy live entertainment from a local/regional band and tasted Colorado’s finest wines. Saturday and Sunday activities included a beer/wine garden, live entertainment, vendors, arts and crafts booths and activities for the whole family. SummerFest also includes a car show on Saturday and Sunday for people to enjoy on Washington Street. We will also launch fireworks on Saturday night to conclude the day’s festivities. 3rd Annual Blues and Brews

Blues & Brews on July 11 will feature top national and local Blues musicians and bands. Come back for details. We will be announcing our band lineup early in 2009. It’s all happening at the 1200 block of Old South Pearl Street—North of Louisiana and South of Buchtel—just a hop, skip and a jump west from the Louisiana-Pearl Light Rail Station. Take the ride in, enjoy some great brews from the likes of Breckenridge Brewery, New Belgium, Left Hand and many more as you hear some of the best music around for just 5 bucks. Web site.

13th Annual Colorado Brewers' Rendezvous

The Colorado Brewers Guild, a trade association dedicated to the Colorado craft brewing industry, facilitates beer educational activities in Colorado. No other nation offers as many different and exciting, flavorful beers as the United States, with thousands of different ales and lagers now available to Americans in all regions of the country. The Colorado Brewers Rendezvous is an excellent opportunity for everyone to tap into the rich heritage and tradition of American brewing, as well as the unique flavors offered by Colorado brewers. Breckenridge Beer Festival

The festival is located at the Main Street Station, on the south side of Breckenridge at 505 S. Main Street. Beer lovers rejoice! Samplings from 20 microbreweries and over 40 craft beers. Beer sampling from 1pm - 6pm for $25 in advance or $30 at the gate. Live music from three live bands on the "Summit Stage". No pets allowed. Web site.

Grow Your Own, Brew Your Own School
July 18-19, 2009 (Sat-Sun)

Come to school on an organic hop farm! Led by Ali Hamm, along with CSU agronomist Dr. Ron Godin and Rising Sun Farms owner and hop grower Glen Fuller. They’ll teach you how to grow hops and barley, and then how to use them complete with a hands-on brewing session. And fire up your own brew kettles now, because we’re hosting the 1st Annual Rising Sun Farms Homebrew Competition, with just 1 category: IPA. Space is limited, $100.

New Belgium Urban Assault Ride

Flying Dog Denver Tweetup

A Tweetup is basically a bunch of people hanging out and drinking beer, especially when Flying Dog is involved. Whether you’re a seasoned tweeter or someone looking to learn more about what this newfangled fad is that’s sweeping the universe, this event is for you. Summer Brew Fest

This year's fest should be even bigger than last year. A Denver beer fest with unlimited samples of the best regional suds from more than 25 breweries and 75 different beers. Live music to be included. The Summer Brew Fest will celebrate Colorado's finest craft beverages. There will be a special VIP session that starts at 6pm for $40 in advance or $45 at the door and lets you sample beers with a smaller crowd for an extra hour. Then the regular session starts at 7pm and will run until 10pm. Regular ticket price is $30 in advance, $35 at the door. Web site.

Friday Fest 2009

Beer Garden, Food Booths and a Free Outdoor Concert on the 9th Street Plaza at 9th & 9th in Greeley Downtown. 7pm-9pm. A great kickoff to the yearly Arts Picnic. Live music by Funkiphino.

Moos and Brews
July 24-25, 2009
Eagle County Fairgrounds
Eagle, CO
The first annual Moos and Brews includes food, drink and music and runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on July 24 and noon to 6 p.m. on July 25 at the Eagle County Fairgrounds. Moos and Brews BBQ & Beer Fest will feature over 18 different national BBQ teams from Colorado, Idaho, Arizona and Kansas and Utah. There will be 10 different microbrews from around the state and beyond. Tickets are $5 for entry and $12 for a commemorative beer mug and samplings from the different microbrews. Tickets are available in advance at Stop n Save in Newcastle, Leadville, Edwards, Gypsum and West Vail. All Alpine Bank locations will carry tickets and they will also be available at the door. Music includes The Williams Brothers on July 24 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by TNT. On July 25, The Digger Trends will play from noon to 1:30 p.m., followed by Hillbilly Hellcats and then TNT will perform again from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Web site.
