Frozen Dead Guy Days
March 6-8, 2009 (Fri-Sun)
One of the weirdest and wackiest festivals ever imagined that's dedicated to the memory of Bredo Morstol who remains frozen in dry ice in Nederland, Colorado. The festival started in 2002 and has become one of the biggest parties to celebrate cryonics and sustainability. The idea that life can be sustained and once living things can be regenerated is a perfect segue to the ideals of environmental sustainability. The city of Nederland spotlights their beer sponsors this year, Wild Mountain Brewery and Avery Brewing, who will be featured in the 6 Feet Under Beer Tent this year. Check out the special 6 Feet Under ESB brew. Web site. Click on the map for directions to Nederland.
