Here are the upcoming Colorado beer festivals and events that are known or planned for the month of May.

Crabtree Braggot Tapping Party

The much awaited Braggot will finally be released on tap as well as in 22oz bomber bottles. Come on out to the brewery and try some of this delicious special mix of stout and mead. More details forthcoming soon.

Spring Beer Festival

Longmont, CO
Pumphouse Brewery and Restaurant announces the Spring Beer Festival, a new beer tasting event held to raise money for local charities in need, and raise awareness of Colorado and U.S. Craft Beer Brewers. This fest will no longer focus on serving primarily "strong beer:" rather, it will focus on lighter brews of spring and summer while continuing a commitment to local charities. Also new for this year will be patio access and one meal for each paying attendee. Partial proceeds for this year's festival will go to the Longmont Humane Society.Festival attendees can expect to receive a Pumphouse Brewery logo pint glass, ten 4-oz. taster tickets, and one festival meal for the admission price of $25. All tickets will be available at the door, on a first come, first served basis. Additional beer taster tickets will be a dollar each and the meals will consist of a mix of choices from the Pumphouse menu. A silent auction will allow further fundraising and a chance to get unique brewery memorabilia and gift certificates from local businesses. Participating breweries have included all Boulder County Brewers as well as other breweries as far as the Pacific Coast. Learn more @ the official event website

Brew-Ha-Ha

One of the top 4 beer festivals in Colorado. This is the 5th annual Brew Ha Ha, a benefit for the Fremont Center for the Arts. There will be beers from more than 20 Colorado and regional microbreweries served plus a bug line-up of top-notch comedians. Live music after the tasting. Open 3:00pm - 6:00pm. Web site.

Founders Night at Boulder Beer

30 years ago, two Colorado homebrewers acquired a brewery license, retrofitted a goat-shed into a brew house and founded Colorado's First Microbrewery and the oldest of the operating modern craft breweries in the United States. Join in at 5 pm as Boulder Beer welcomes back those two pioneers, David Hummer and Stick Ware, for an informal evening of tasting and beer war stories, hosted by Brewmaster, David Zuckerman.

American Craft Beer Week tapping

Shelton Brothers Belgian Beer Dinner

Summit Brewfest and BBQ

Event will run from 6pm to 11pm on Friday and from 2pm to 10pm on Saturday. Tickets are $20 per person includes beer samples and sample BBQ. The First Annual Summit Brewfest & BBQ brings together the finest beers of Colorado and the nation with the best BBQ in Southern Colorado. Craft Beer Week Party

Have you had the St. Vrain Tripel? Good on you, if you have. That would mean you've been enjoying our brews for some time now. Left Hand Brewing hasn't released the St. Vrain since summer of 2006...and it's finally back! Friday, May 15th is already going to be a good time in the Tasting Room with live music and the Oak-Aged Imperial Stout on cask. Spicy on the nose, warming going down, the St. Vrain is deceptively drinkable.

Avery Vegetarian Beer Dinner

Blues, Brews & BBQ Festival

8th Annual Festival of the Brewpubs

THIS YEARS FEST HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO EXPANSION CONSTRUCTION
