Dry Dock Brewing taps new brews for September

Dry Dock Brewing Company
Speaking of tapping parties, Dry Dock Brewing Company of Aurora, Colorado is having one of their own this Saturday, September 12th starting at 12:00 noon. Their newsletter, released yesterday describes two brews that will be spotlighted during the tapping event. Dry Dock Oktoberfest/Marzen will be tapped along with a special 1 liter glassware made just for the occasion. There will be liters of beer, free brats & kraut and some good ol' German drinking music on hand.

Not only that, but Dry Dock Brewing will also be tapping their new Double IPA. If you want a sneak peak at this brew they will be opening up two small firkins today, Friday. But otherwise, the full tapping event will happen at the same time on Saturday as their Oktoberfest brew. The Double IPA will be on tap for $6/pint or $4/10oz glass. A bit higher priced but it also has a lot more kick to it!

Be sure to check out the Brew Hut also and stock up on homebrewing supplies while you're at it. The Brew Hut will be hosting the Brew Hut's Homebrewers Garage Sale on September 12th from open to close. We'll be getting rid of a bunch of odds and ends that they've accumulated over the years that was discovered during their recent big move. All sorts of items from chillers to boil kettles, mash tuns, and other odds and ends! Time: 10:00AM Saturday, September 12th.

And a big Congrats to Dry Dock Brewing for winning medals at this year's Colorado State Fair! Dry Dock Brewery won Gold for their U-Boat Hefeweisen, Silver for their Urca Vanilla Porter, Bronze for The Yellow Submarine Munich Helles, Paragon Apricot Blonde, H.M.S. Victory ESB and H.M.S. Bounty Old Ale! That's a lot of awards!
