Tis’ the Season for Isolation

Odell Brewing Greets Fall with its Winter Warmer

[PRESS RELEASE] Fort Collins, Colo. – On September 28, 2009, Odell Brewing Company will release Isolation ale, a winter brew in its tenth season.

The copper colored winter warmer is brewed with imported premium malts from England. Isolation has a rich and slightly sweet malt flavor that is complimented by a subtle spice hop finish, and pours a creamy head like frost on a pumpkin.

“The extra hard work the brewers put into loading thousands of pounds of the finest malts (all by hand) really pays off and makes this beer something truly special,” said Jake Bailey, who works in the brewery’s cellar. “There is nothing better than a cold Isolation, warm bowl of green chili stew, and football on a Sunday.”

Isolation ale, one of three seasonal offerings, follows the brewery’s summer seasonal, St. Lupulin. It will be available in the brewery’s eight state distributor region at a suggested retail price of $9.49 - $9.99 per six-pack. Odell Brewing will welcome fall with an Isolation tapping party on September 28th at the brewery’s Tap Room.

Odell Brewing was recently named a “Best Company to Work For” in Colorado and is an award winning brewery, nationally and internationally: 2008 North American Beer Awards – gold medal for 5 Barrel Pale Ale. 2008 World Beer Cup® – gold medal for IPA, silver medal for Double Pilsner, silver medal for Cutthroat Porter. 2007 Great American Beer Festival® – gold medal for IPA, silver medal for Easy Street Wheat, bronze medal for Extra Special Red. 2007 Stockholm International Beer Festival – bronze medal for 5 Barrel Pale Ale. 2007 Australian International Beer Awards – silver medal for 90 Shilling, silver medal for Cutthroat Porter, silver medal for Easy Street Wheat and bronze medal for 5 Barrel Pale Ale.
