Upslope Brewing rolls out new Single Batch brews

Upslope Brewing CoSeptember is a great month for beer releases and Upslope Brewing Company of Boulder, Colorado is planning not one, but two new releases this week. In fact, they are going to throw a tapping party this Saturday, September 12th from 2pm to 6pm at their brewery to celebrate. Upslope is announcing their 3rd and 4th beers in their Single Batch series: Upslope Bitter Brown, a dark brown ale brewed in the tradition of both English and American ales, and also Dunkelweizen, a dark wheat beer with a hint of banana, nutmeg and other spices.

Upslope describes their beers as follows:

Upslope Bitter Brown is a medium-bodied ale brewed with an infusion of English tradition and American creativity. Crafted with ingredients from across the pond, Bitter Brown boast a dark brown body that supports a creamy tan head which last the entire glass. Strong roasted coffee aromas compliment the complex flavor of chocolate, toffee, and East Kent Golding hops.IBU: 40, ABV: 6.7%, Body: Medium.

Dunkelweizen: Our dark wheat beer is brewed with Special B and de-husked Carafa Specialty II malts, and then hopped with Hallertau. We combined these ingredients to produce a dark, complex beer with a sweet, nutty aroma. Our Dunkelweizen has a roasted, caramelized and chocolaty taste with hints of banana, nutmeg and other spices.

For tapping day, all pints of their Single Batch Series brews will be $3 per pint. At the tapping party, there will also be plenty of food to try courtesy of Dubbin's Sandwiches. Once you've tried the Bitter Brown and the Dunkelweizen you might like to sample some of Upslope's other brews like their Upslope IPA, Upslope Pale Ale, a Belgian Dubbel and a Belgian Pale Ale.
