I found this video link off Twitter. The Breckenridge Brewery sent out a tweet announcing their new TV ad spot for their Lucky U IPA. I took a look and just had to laugh when I recognized what they were actually doing in this video. If you are familiar with any of the old TV spots featuring Pete Coors from Coors brewery then you'll get the joke in this short :30 second video. Enjoy!

While beer ads are common on TV, I've yet to see any Breckenridge ads air on our local channels. Perhaps it's just an Internet commercial. Either way, I love the humor they put into this. Wish more local breweries would do stuff like this if only for the online masses.
Apparently, this TV ad runs exclusively on FOX 31 KDVR in Denver and will air from now until Feb 12, 2010. Look for it!

Who doesn't love a good example of mockery and derision?

Ah no wonder I never see it. I only watch Fox 31 for Fringe and Football. Never see the local shows.
