Great Divide Brewing Co - International #IPADay plans (Thurs. August 4th) - special IPA taster flight - one day only bargain pricing on Titan IPA shirts. Never before released #IPAday keg on tap. Plus, enter to win a sweet GD prize pack by tweeting or Facebook-ing a pic of your IPA in the Tap Room with the tag #IPAday. Not in Denver? You can celebrate from afar too, by tagging pictures with Great Divide Brewing Company or @greatdividebrew or by letting them know what delicious GD IPA you’re enjoying in your own city on August 4th. Tap Room will be open from 2-10pm. Great Divide was also named 18th in the top US brewery rankings by Zymurgy magazine.

Crabtree Brewing - bottled their new Berliner Weisse yesterday using a loner bottling machine from Left Hand Brewing Company that allows them to bottle 750ml and 22oz bottles. Part of their digital age series coming soon. Also at Crabtree - Wednesdays are $6 growler fills all day.

Ed Sealover's new book - Mountain Brew - a guide to Colorado breweries - book launch event at Strange Brewing Co (Denver) Sat. August 6th at 4pm. Come for readings and imbibing. Ed will also appear at Ska Brewing's 16th anniversary party in Durango on September 24th promoting his book.

Pints for Prostates reminds men to get tested for prostate cancer and live longer and to drink good beer.

Avery Brewing - their next Barrel-Aged brew has been announced - Immitis (Barrel-Aged Sour Ale). It is to be bottled on August 12, 2011. It's the 9th in the series and was aged in Zinfandel barrels. Described as "Mercilessly and cruelly sour" and a hefty 9.54% ABV. Only 198 cases of 12oz bottles will be made.

Star Bar (Denver) - more International #IPADay events - $20 unlimited samples of IPA's 6:30pm-8:30pm. 20 different IPAs.

Freshcraft (Denver) - #IPADay Aug 4th - $5 IPA flight - Four 4.5oz glasses of different IPAs.

Colt & Gray (Denver) - #IPADay Aug 4th - highlighting 4 different IPA specials.

New Belgium - Newest release: Clutch (dark sour stout ale) is hitting the store shelves by next week in 22oz bottles only.

Breckenridge Brewery just purchased an automated canning line and will use it for canning beers from both Breckenridge (including Summerbright, Agave Wheat and 471 IPA) and Wynkoop Brewing (Rail Yard Ale and Silverback Pale Ale).

Great American Beer Festival - Sept. 29-Oct. 1 The GABF is long sold out, but the Brown Palace Hotel is offering a "Celebration of Suds" package that includes two tickets to the festival and an in-room fridge containing craft beers from Colorado. Cost: $539. (303) 297-3111.

Backcountry Brewery - is offering up their Telemark IPA for International #IPADay tomorrow at the brewery in Frisco.

Telluride Brewing - almost lost their brewery in the making last night due to a fire at the business next door (they share a wall). Luckily they will be ok.

Hops & Berries (Homebrew Shop) - Planning Brewing 101 class on August 10th at 4pm. $20 a head. Focus on extract brewing process. Samples of Equinox Brewing beer during session. Fort Collins, CO.

Revolution Brewing (Paonia, CO) - is starting to put together a new brewery facility at the corner of 3rd and Grand in Paonia inside the old Wired Right building. It's great views will inspire better brews.

Oskar Blues (Longmont) - shows off their BrewSkeeBall machines at the Tasty Weasel tap room in this video:
Crazy Mountain is releasing "Jolie Blonde" (translation: pretty blonde), a Belgian style IPA made with Warrior and Amarillo hops. This is the second release in their Belgian Beauties series, the first being "Est Rousse" (translation: the redhead), a Belgian style Amber Ale. Tommyknocker Brewery (Idaho Springs) - Announced the release of their Small Patch Pumpkin Ale seasonal brew today. Funkwerks (Ft Collins) - has a new beer in their taproom - Barrel Blonde.
