Copper Kettle Brewing Company (Denver) - Their new 10 barrel fermenters arrived and were unloaded this last weekend.

Eddyline Restaurant and Brewing (Buena Vista) - just doubled their fermentation capacity with their new 20 bbl conical fermenter.

Left Hand Brewing (Longmont) - received new keg label approval for their Biere de Garde Ale.

TRiNiTY Brewing (Colorado Springs) - August 16th marks the debut of Firestone Walker on tap at Trinity. Six different FW brews being featured from 6pm-8pm.

Funkwerks (Fort Collins) - is sponsoring a tasting at Boulder Wine Merchant on August 12th from 5pm-7pm. Available to sample are their White, Saison and Maori King.

Grimm Brothers Brewhouse and Big Beaver Brewing (both of Loveland) take 1st and 2nd place respectively for the Gnarly Barley People's Choice Award. (Hmm, think the festival location in Loveland had anything to do with that? Probably so - locals love their breweries best!) Also, Grimm Brothers is temporarily out of growlers at the brewery so bring your own for a fill until the new ones come in.

Fermentedly Challenged owner Chipper Dave endured 98 degree heat and brewed up an outdoor batch of Ending Summer Better ESB this weekend. Targeted for a mid-September debut. (Homebrew) Yes, even I brew beer.

Ska Brewing (Durango) is hosting a Happy Hour Yoga night at the brewery. Get your yoga on then some beer fro 5:30pm to 6:30pm. $10 for 1-hour class and a beer.

New Belgium Brewing will expand into Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. on August 22. That new east coast brewery probably can't come soon enough.

Steamworks Brewing Company (Durango) is offering $8 pitchers of beer all day in their taproom. (that's roughly $2 a pint).

Crazy Mountain Brewery reminds everyone of the upcoming Ed Fest on Saturday, August 13th from 1pm to 5pm in Edwards, CO. Details on the August beer fest calendar.
