Rockyard Brewing (Castle Rock) will host a Buddha Release Party on Friday, August 26th. There will be both Buddha Nuvo and an un-barrel aged Buddha being tasted at the brewery. Look for my review of this brew coming up soon.

Left Hand Brewing (Longmont) is hosting Leftapalooza this Sunday at the tap room. Details on the August Colorado Beer Fest Calendar. You don't need to be left handed to participate (but it might help).

Stapleton Beer Festival (Denver) is happening this Saturday, August 20th at Founder's Green - 29th Ave & Roslyn. Event runs from 4pm to 8:30pm. CAUTION: Brewing will be one of the featured breweries.

Dry Dock Brewing (Aurora) will be the featured brewery at Denver's Littlest Big Beer Fest this month at Hops & Pie - 3920 Tennyson Street in Denver on Sunday, August 21st from 2pm-6pm. Here's your chance to chat with the brewer about Dry Dock brews.

Arvada Beer Company (Arvada) may not be open yet but you can get a first taste of their upcoming brew at the Foam Fest at the Colorado State Fair in Pueblo. Stop by their booth and say "I'm thirsty". Arvada Beer hopes to have their grand opening sometime in September - stay tuned.

Strange Brewing (Denver) will give a $1 off each pint for the quarter that the Denver Broncos score a touchdown in during Saturday's pre-season game.

Grand Lake Brewing (Grand Lake) is proud to announce a brand new menu at their Taphouse. New entrees, lower prices and new management. Taste brews from their 12 tap draft system.

Great American Beer Festival just released the names of all breweries that will be attending the 30th annual event in Denver. Colorado alone will comprise 74 out of the 474 breweries. Way to represent Colorado!

TRiNiTY Brewing (Colorado Springs) is celebrating the arrival of Firestone Walker beers in Colorado this week. They now have six selections of Firestone Walker beers on draft.

Colt & Gray (Denver restaurant/cafe) - is celebrating their 2nd anniversary today. Help them celebrate with a craft brew today.

Equinox Brewing (Fort Collins) announced that today's firkin is White Chocolate O'rion Irish Red Ale. Tapping at noon.

Hops & Berries (Fort Collins homebrew shop) has a tip for those wanting to experiment with hops. Consider using Nelsen Sauvin hop pellets - at 12+% AA it is an excellent hop for bittering and can give an intensely fruity / tropical aroma as well. Now in stock.

Applejack Wine & Spirits (Wheat Ridge) will have the Budweiser Clydesdales horse team outside the shop from 4pm to 5pm today. Grab the kids and your cameras.

Bristol Brewing (Colorado Springs) got approval on a new label design for their Winter Warlock oatmeal stout. Look for it on bottles later this year.

Avery Brewing (Boulder) will release their next barrel-aged brew Immitus - a mercilessly cruel and sour ale on September 10th, 2011.

Rackhouse Pub (Denver) is hosting Geeks Who Drink Trivia - tonight at 8pm. Bring some friends and challenge for prizes.

Oskar Blues (Longmont) just tapped an OH'ked 10-fidy at the Weasel tap room (Thursday). Better hurry that won't last long.

Silverton Brewery (Silverton) announced that they will be expanding into New Mexico in 2 weeks. Wish them good luck in their new frontier.

Dry Dock Brewing (Aurora) will be tapping their Pilsner, Kolsh and Doug's mega-IPA (Hoposaurus Rex) next week at the brewery. Enjoy their Bizmark Altbier and Nitro Porter today.

The Mayor of Old Town (Fort Collins bar) will host a State of the Brewnion talk on Monday, August 22nd with New Belgium's Eric and Lauren Salazar. They'll be discussing their new sour beer program at NBB. Get there around 5:30pm to get a seat. Special secret beer and cruiser bike raffle.

Upslope Brewing (Boulder) will release it's 2011 Great American Beer Festival's Pro-Am brew on Saturday, August 20th at 2pm-9pm at the taproom. The new brew is a Black IPA named "Old Man 54". It's an extra dark hoppy ale.

Steamworks Brewing (Durango) now has it's 2010 GABF Gold Medal winning beer back on tap - "What in the Helles?" - a Munich-Helles style lager.
