Hops & Berries (Fort Collins) is putting together an informal homebrewing competition for all of those tasty “hop-centric” beers that pop up around this time of year. Nine winners, one in each style category, will receive a $20 gift card to Hops & Berries, and one of the nine will be chosen to be brewed by Equinox Brewing Co. Details at their website.

Dad & Dude's Breweria (Aurora) is looking to enhance their web site and is looking for a talented firm to help with theh project. If you can design awesome web sites contact Mason Hembree (the "Dude") at the brewery.

Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project (Fort Collins) now have their beer on the shelves at Total Beverage in Westminster. Look for more stores near you soon.

Crabtree Brewing (Greeley) released their Cabernet barrel-aged beer called Syzygy Black IPA over the weekend. Syzygy is available in 750ml bottles for a limited time. Only 47 cases will be available on the market and 75% of it is already pre-sold. Seek this one out before it's sold out. Stay tuned for their Peachtree Cherry Wheat in September.

Lone Tree Brewing (Lone Tree) spent the weekend moving in their new brew house, fermenters and serving tanks. Opening day can't be too far away now.

Fort Collins Brewery (Fort Collins) now has The Incredible Hop back on tap. Come taste this big Imperial India Wheat Ale. Can we please stop exporting all our hoppy beer to India and save some for ourselves?

The Mayor of Old Town (Fort Collins) is planning a special sour beer event at the Mayor's office tonight at 5pm. They've already put up New Belgium's La Folie and Eric's Ale on tap in preparation. Plus there will be the New Belgium cruiser bike giveaway tonight too.

Beer Fests Galore - Get ready for one of the busiest Colorado beer festival weeks of the year. Over 18 different events from August 23rd to the 28th! Check out this week's line-up on the August beer festival calendar. It's only a warm up for September!

Over 20,000 expected for this weekend's Rocky Mountain Irish Festival in Windsor, CO. Get your Irish on!

Breckenridge Brewery (Denver) announced their upcoming BEER vs WINE square-off on Thursday, September 22nd at the Warwick Denver Hotel starting at 6:30pm. Tickets are $69 and seating is limited. Join them for food, beer and wine and help them kick the crap out of wine.

Boulder Beer Company (Boulder) is sponsoring their annual anniversary Beer Rave on Saturday, September 10th. A mini-brewfest with 32 breweries bringing their "Taproom Only" beers, raising funds for Miracle on Walnut Street, Boulder's Christmas Dinner for the homeless. Tickets on sale now. Beer Rave 2011

Hall Brewing Company (Parker) - rumor has it (via BeerAdvocate) that Falcon Brewing Company in Parker is no longer brewing beer but another person is starting up his own brewing operation in the same town. Look for news on a possible Hall Brewing Company coming soon.

Avery Brewing (Boulder) and Euclid Hall (Denver) are teaming up to sponsor Midnight Breakfast Thursday night September 29th after the evening GABF session at 11pm at Euclid Hall just blocks from the GABF. Tickets will be $70 but you get fed like a King and get some delicious Avery brew to wash it down with. BACON will be part of the menu! Tickets start on sale at noon TODAY at Avery.

Ska Brewing (Durango) is releasing Sethvleteren 8, their Organic Belgian Dubbel Pro-Am GABF beer on Wednesday, August 24th at the brewery.

Grimm Brothers Brewhouse (Loveland) announce their partnership with Alternatives To Violence (ATV) and 7 Loveland restaurants to bring you Wednesdays For ATV during Happy Hour 5-7pm each Wednesday at a rotating Loveland restaurant through the end of the year. 10% of all Grimm Brothers sales during Happy Hours goes to the Southern Larimer Country Safehouse Project. This Wednesday, August 24th at Applebee's in Loveland.

Twisted Pine Brewing (Boulder) - This Sunday, August 28th Twisted Pine will be donating $1 off every pint sold to CU EducAid: an organization that is dedicated to fighting global poverty through education. Please come out and help support this great cause! Live music by the Rocktin Grove.

Odell Brewing (Fort Collins) will be hanging out at the Rio Grande Fort Collins this Friday from 10pm to midnight. Join them for bottle bucket and IPA pint specials. There will be some special giveaways to be won as well.

Oskar Blues Grill & Brew (Lyons) will have Fidy-cent wings tonight at 4pm. Carbondale Beer Works Ale House (Carbondale) will also have 50 cent wings tonight at 6pm during Monday Night pre-season Football.

Dry Dock Brewing (Aurora) says: "Billsner Pilsner on tap today! Whale Tail Wit very, very close! And, have you had the Hoposaurus Rex yet? 44 lbs of hops never tasted so good.."

Steamworks Brewing (Durango) just got label approval for their new Quince Anos Barleywine Ale for their upcoming 15th anniversary. Look for this new release soon!

Asher Brewing (Boulder) is hosting poker tonight starting at 5:00pm at the brewery. Come celebrate the end of Monday with some beers!

New Belgium (Fort Collins) now has Fat Tire, Ranger and Trippel in Maryland, DC and Virginia for the first time today.

Foam Fest (Pueblo) is this Saturday at the Colorado State Fair. Beers from all over the state will be judged as well as plenty of beer on tap for thirsty fair-goers.

Funkwerks (Fort Collins) is pleased to announce the tapping their newest beer called 'Cochon' an American Saison on Wed. August 24th. It's a Saison loaded with American hops. Funkwerks says "If the French-speaking Belgians discovered they were Americanizing their well known style of beer, they would yell, "Cochon!!!" - 'pig' in French." Available Wednesday at the brewery.
