Avery Brewing Company (Boulder) reminds everyone to get your tickets for the Midnight Breakfast at Euclid Hall for Thursday, September 29th soon. You won't be able to buy them at the door and this will definitely sell out. They plan to share 4 beers from their barrel-aged series during the event: Brabant, Dihos Dachtylion, Immitis and Margarete.

Wit's End Brewing (Denver) is one step closer to their official opening. Already they've declared their first customer purchase. They will have limited tasting room hours this week where you can sample some Jean-Claude Van Blond and Green Man Ale on tap. More clean-up needed before opening. 2505 W. 2nd Ave, Unit #13 - Denver, CO. Stay tuned.

Telluride Brewing Company (Telluride) - while they might not be quite ready for their grand opening by this coming weekend's Telluride Blues & Brews festival, they have been extremely busy getting ready for their first customers. Hope to have word soon on their official opening plans.

Monday's Trivia Question: This little brewery can be found in a small southern Colorado town along the headwaters of the Rio Grande River. They make such beers as Goofy Foot Ale, Hop Trash Ale, Black Copter Stout Ale and Bad Phil Ale. The brewery was established in 2005 with most of the beer made in copper-clad Price-Shonstrum vessels. What is the name of this Colorado brewery?

Copper Kettle Brewing (Denver) was successful in their growler sales drive for the Red Cross Relief Fun yesterday. They raised $225.00 in growler sales for the Red Cross. Thanks to all who helped out. Also, just 3 more days left until the homebrew competition deadline.

Ska Brewing (Durango) reminds everyone that this is Durango Beer Week, Oktoberfest and their 16th anniversary all this week.

Denver Beer Quiz - Test your Denver beer knowledge! Take the Denver Beer Quiz and post your results on the Visit Denver wall. Odell Brewing (Fort Collins) now has "Just Peachy" on tap in their taproom. Light body and color - brewed with 180 pounds of Palisade peaches and a touch of Brett (sour). Get a taste while it lasts.

Old Mill Brewery & Grill (Littleton) is throwing a Broncos special. During all Bronco games all house beers are just $1!! Also pizza on Pita is just $2 and half price wings. Raffles for prizes will happen during the game. Every time the Broncos score a touchdown you'll get a FREE jello shot.

Watercourse Foods (837 E. 17th Ave - Denver) is sponsoring the "IPA Porch Pounder" on Wednesday, September 14th from 4pm to 7pm. $20 per person will get you UNLIMITED food and beer. IPA's from Renegade, Asher, Great Divide, Ska and Avery Brewing. Info on the Facebook event page.

Bristol Brewing (Colorado Springs) now have two huge new tanks set up in their brewhouse. They had to tear open the roof to put them in. They'll be hooked up and full of beer within a week. Later on when thew new facility is ready they will be moved once again.

Eddyline Brewery (Buena Vista) just installed new Flatscreen TV's in the Pub just in time for the Broncos game tonight. See both MNF games tonight - starts at 5pm.

Beer for Breakfast? - The Wall Street Journal says it can work well as a perfect compliment to eggs in the morning. Left Hand Milk Stout was suggested as a starter. Full Article.

Avery Brewing (Boulder) has announced that for the 1st time they will bottle their seasonal Rumpkin - Rum barrel-aged Imperial Pumpkin Ale in mid-October. Rumpkin has been a traditional taproom-only seasonal. This is a massive beer weighing in at 16% ABV. Save this one for after you return from Trick-or-Treating with the kids. Article at Westword.

Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project (Fort Collins) just finished bottling a new creation - Wild Wild Brett Orange. Just 95 cases total - going to be released very soon. Look for it.
