Oktoberfests in Colorado - missed out on Oktoberfest? Fear not! There are still plenty of Oktoberfest celebrations going on this weekend. The following cities will be celebrating this weekend: Carbondale, Erie, Ouray, Colorado Springs. Check out the October Beer Fest Calendar for more details.

Fort Collins Brewery (Fort Collins) will celebrate their fourth and final installment of their Incredible Hop series this Friday, October 7th as they release their Imperial India Belgian Ale. Its a mix between an old Belgian Triple and a new American Double IPA. Stop by Friday after work to try it out.

Steamworks Brewing (Durango) reminds everyone in the Durango area that they will be tapping a special rare Caramel Apple Firkin on Friday, October 7th at 3pm. It's like bobbing for apples in a glass - only better.

Wits End Brewing (Denver) had a successful opening week last week during the GABF. Their regular hours for now will be from 2pm to 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Stop by this weekend and say hello and try their brew. They are at: 2505 W. 2nd Ave., Unit #13 - Denver, CO.

The Mayor of Old Town (Fort Collins) is looking for 10 women who love free beer and are active in social networking. These 10 are needed for a trial run of their new Beer 101 tasting class next Tuesday evening from 6pm to 7pm. Email them at contact[at]mayorofoldtown.com to be one of their beta testers.

Asher Brewing (Boulder) is planning a Halloween party on Saturday, October 29th this year. Everyone is asked to wear a costume for this festive event. Details forthcoming. Save the date.

Renegade Brewing (Denver) is hiring! They are looking for a part-time brewer. Renegade says: "We are looking for someone who loves to brew and who loves to have fun doing it. We need someone who understands working in a small company that is growing rapidly. This person must be able to work in a fast paced environment that is changing to respond to the growing needs of our customers." Trinity Brewing (Colorado Springs) is brewing up a batch of Farmhouse Walloon today. It's a farmhouse saison made with veggies and hops. It's set to debut on Friday, October 21st at 5pm.

Fort Collins Brewery (Fort Collins) has set the date for their annual Halloween Party for Saturday, October 29th at 2pm at the brewery. There will be live music from Edgewater Juke and Blue Grama. There will also be games, a bake sale, vendors, food and a costume contest at 5pm. Kid friendly and all are welcome.

Grimm Brothers Brewhouse (Loveland) - fresh off their medal winning victory at the 2011 GABF, Grimm Brothers is expanding their taproom. They need your help to do so. They are in need of some helping hands tonight to tear down a few walls, rip up carpet and drink some beer. If you bring the gloves, they will bring the food and beer. Funkwerks (Fort Collins) will be releasing their new Cherry Saison starting this Thursday, October 6th at their taproom. Then starting next week, it will be available to purchase in stores. Come taste this tart sensation.

Pateros Creek Brewing (Fort Collins) may be under the effects of parking lot construction, but they are still open and offering up 1/2 price growler refills all day today and on every Tuesday. Stop in - the south entrance to their lot is open.
