Denver Beer Company (Denver) - PROST! Put on your Lederhosen and come on down to the Beergarden for their first annual celebration of BEER in the FALL on Saturday, October 15th at noon. They'll tap a special Oktoberfest brew at 12 p.m. From Noon - 4:30 p.m. the Average German Band plays your favorite oompah hits live in the Beergarden. All Day PIG ROAST! They'll start roasting the pig on Friday. 6 p.m. - "Hotest Lederhosen and Dirndl" Contest. Sober judges will pick the winners of the best German outfits. Tickets at the brewery or call (303) 433-2739.

TRiNiTY Brewing (Colorado Springs) will release several "saisonal" ales this month. On October 7th - Emma's Coffin (Belgian ale with pumpkin and garam masala), On October 21st say hello to Farmhouse Walloon. Then on October 29th during their Costume Party they'll tap a special pumpkinized firkin of their FLO IPA. Trinity also has tons of events and releases planned for October and November. Pateros Creek Brewing (Fort Collins) just got a nice write-up on their seasonal Owl Canyon Pumpkin Ale in the Coloradoan. Check out the article, then head down to Pateros Creek Brewing for a taste of this fresh seasonal ale.

Oskar Blues (Longmont) is celebrating their annual Osktoberfest this Saturday, October 8th in Longmont at the Oskar Blues Home Made Liquids & Solids. The fun starts out on the patio (weather permitting) with Tom Allan's Polka band from 2-3:30pm and then the group Girls on Top from 4-7pm. Then finish the evening upstairs with Fully Belly, a Boulder roots rock band from 8:30pm-12am. There will be face painting, balloon making and plenty of great German style food on the buffet.

Great Divide Brewing Company (Denver) recently opened up their newly expanded tasting room during the Great American Beer Festival. The bigger room, once considered super tiny, now has room for up to 75 more guests. Check out the story on some of the historical milestones for Great Divide in the 5280 article.

Boulder Beer Company (Boulder) will host their annual Never Summer Ale Rollout party this Thursday evening, October 6th. Come by and try this great seasonal and try your hand at creating a snowflake with paper and scissors (sounds dangerous with beer) and you might just walk away unscathed with a free six pack from their unbiased judges. (Sucking up might help you win I think).

Ska Brewing (Durango) is hosting a "Get a Shot & a Beer" event. Come to the brewery today from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. Get your annual flu shot there and you'll get a beer after! Flu shots are $25 or $27 if insurance billed. Remember, it's not a boilermaker, they won't drop the shot into your beer - just your arm!

Three Barrel Brewing Chimayo PenitentesThree Barrel Brewing (Del Norte) just released the image of a new label for an upcoming brew. "Chimayo" Penitente Canyon Ale. The Brotherhood of Penitentes of the San Luis Valley sparked Three Barrel Brewing to brew very special Ales, in the tradition of Third Order Franciscan Monks. The Monks departed back to Mexico and Spain leaving the indigenous people to become, The Penitentes, The Brotherhood watched over the villages for generations with simplicity. This new brew was crafted with San Luis Valley malt, mountain water, yeast and hops, elderberries and raisins - all coming together to bring you a true Colorado ale. Look for this soon!

Rock Bottom Brewery (Colorado Springs) and the Beer Drinkers Guide to Colorado is hosting Sisterhood of the Suds on Thursday, October 13th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at Rock Bottom in the Springs. Ladies! Join in at Rock Bottom to drink some beers, nosh some food, and have a great time! Brewer Jason Leeman will give us a brief talk at 5:45pm about his beers before he taps a special release Wonder Brew at 6pm. Rock Bottom - 3316 Cinema Point Drive in the First and Main Town Center.

Equinox Brewing (Fort Collins) is hosting a movie, firkin and cheese pairing event. On Saturday, October 8th at 5pm come view Beer Culture: The Movie. Come meet and greet the director and producers of Beer Culture: The Movie at Equinox. Enjoy a specialty firkin and cheese pairing and enjoy a good flick about Colorado craft brewers. Details at the brewery and at the Beer Culture site. Tickets available for $15.

MTV's The Real World (TV show) is doing a casting call today at the Fort Collins Brewery in Fort Collins for one day only. If you are 24 or under (or look that young) head on down to the brewery and fill out the forms for your shot at an audition. Who knows, your love of FCB might just turn into a new adventure. Kegs for Cal-Wood (Event) - Kegs for Cal-Wood is a casual beer and food pairing event that will take place at the Rembrandt Yard (1301 Spruce Street) in Boulder on Tuesday, October 11 from 7-10 pm. In addition, there will be a VIP Chef's Table from 6-7 pm. This tasting will showcase Colorado beers and local food artisans. All proceeds from this event will enable up to 1,500 economically-disadvantaged students to attend our programs during the 2011-12 school year. Tickets at: Web site or at Facebook event.

Grimm Brothers Brewhouse (Loveland) will celebrate their 2nd annual Oktoberfest this Saturday, October 8th from 11am to 9pm at their taproom. Join them for great German Style beer, food and music.
