Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project (Fort Collins) announced that bottles of their new Wild Wild Brett Orange (WWBO) went on sale yesterday and are available in the taproom (at Funkwerks). There were only 1,125 bottles made so get yours while it lasts!

Eddyline Brewing (Buena Vista) is getting closer to getting their new canning line operational. They are working to install some software fixes and make alignment changes with the machinery and then they will be back in operation. Stays tuned for those 16oz cans!

Meet The Brewer Night - is proud to present Meet the Brewer Night with Chad Yakobson, owner and brewer of Crooked Stave at Another Pint/A Second Cup in Colorado Springs on October 22nd from 6pm to 9pm. This will be the first time that Crooked Stave's beers will be available in Colorado Springs. All of Crooked Stave's beers are aged on oak and many are soured, often using various strains of Brettanomyces. There is no cover charge, but these specialty beers will be available for purchase at Another Pint/A Second Cup, both in bottles and on draft. Chad will give a talk about his beers and the unique things he's doing at his brewery, and he will be available to chat with you if you want to ask him any questions or make small talk. Mountain Sun (Boulder) - Attention hopheads and stout lovers: Mountain Sun had an unexpected opening in their brewery production schedule. Look for a brand new batch of Trickster Stout in a couple of weeks! (Works for me and #StoutDay plans)

Equinox Brewing (Fort Collins) says "so long" Spicy September and hello to October. Today's firkin is Swiss Chocolate Almond Sunset Stout. Tapping at noon so get some while it lasts.

Pateros Creek Brewing (Fort Collins) has a new tap. Their OUTLAW TAP got a new handle. Come in and see this as it's hand crafted and painted by their own Tim Harper. Oh, and the beer that will be pouring from said tap is: Vanilla Cream K├Âlsch - back by popular demand. Sign me up! ALSO - the Liquid Poets Society homebrew club meeting is tonight at the brewery, so the tap room will be closed right at 7pm. So get your growler fills early.

Great Divide Brewing Company (Denver) - what's that new huge shiny white monolith next to Great Divide? Why it's their brand new CO2 tank of course! Come on down and see their expanded tasting room. They open at 2pm today.

Left Hand Brewing (Longmont) is doing another beer dinner at Lucky Pie Pizza in Boulder on October 19th (Wed) at 6:30pm to 9:00pm. Hey, who doesn’t like pizza and beer right? If you have not been to America’s greatest small town (Louisville) in a while then get yourself to this beer dinner. Lucky Pie is situated in the old Post Office building on Front Street. Left Hand will be bringing some fun beers like the latest Fade to Black and a cask pin of the 400lb Monkey English IPA. There will be eating, drinking, singing, and toasting. 5 Courses and 5 Beers for $50 (plus tax and tips). Attendees have a chance to win FREE BEER for a Year! Web site.

Ska Brewing (Durango) - Sure, you know who won medals at the GABF, but do you know who just won a medal at the Stockholm Beer and Whiskey Festival in Sweden? That's right - Ska Brewing for their Modus Hoperandi! Grats to Ska Brewing on the international recognition for their awesome hoppy brew.

Changing of the Seasons - Hey boarders and skiers, it's starting to snow in the mountains already and you know what that means! Better stock up with growlers while you can still drive. Mountain breweries will keep making beer as long you keep venturing out on the roads. Please support our mountain breweries as they prepare for winter.

Avery Brewing (Boulder) - Ever wondered what happened if a monstrous pumpkin ale, plump full of spicy gourdiness, were aged in fresh rum barrels?... So did Avery! After an extensive training regimen in Old Gosling's Rum barrels, shot up with a cycle of nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger, this pumpkin got big... really big. We're talking 15.9% ABV. Avery was surprised that they could even get him into the bottle! You can get your bottles on October 15th at the Avery Rumpkin release party. $10/bottle, limit 6 per person. Live music, turkey legs, and $2 cans will be going while you wait. Bottle sales will start at 5pm. Very limited quantities will be released in CA, TX, VA/DC, GA, MO, MA, and FL.
