Odell Brewing (Fort Collins) won a Gold award for British Style Ale at the Stockholm Beer and Whiskey Festival last week for their Odell 90 Shilling. Congrats to Odell for their internationally recognized brew! Also, Odell will be co-hosting a beer dinner at Hodsons Bar & Grill in Denver on Wednesday, October 12th at 6pm. Fall Harvest Brewfest (Fort Collins) - Hey! Beer fest season is not quite over in Colorado. This Saturday, October 15th at the Drake Centre in Fort Collins from 6pm to 9pm, there will be the 3rd Annual Fall Harvest Brewfest. Over 20 breweries, micro-distilleries and local food pairings will be available. Part of the proceeds will benefit the Animal House Shelter. Live music included. Tickets $35, or $50 VIP (get in 1 hour earlier). www.fallharvestbrewfest.com

Boulder Beer (Boulder) will co-host a Bison & Beer Dinner at Ted's Montana Grill on Pearl Street in Boulder on Tuesday, October 18th from 6pm to 9pm. Cost is $40 for this six-course, six beer dinner. Call (303) 449-5546 for reservations. See the Facebook event page for details.

Copper Kettle Brewing (Denver) is closed on Tuesdays, but Wednesday will be the last day their Altbier will be on tap. Join them on Thursday for a cheese and beer pairing from Truffle Cheese Shop. Four 8 ounce pours of our craft beer paired with some amazing cheeses, fruit and crackers. $20!

Twisted Pine Brewing (Boulder) is once again supporting the fight against breast cancer this year. Come in and buy a pink pint glass for $5 and they will donate 100% of the proceeds to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. They are also accepting donations to that foundation as well. Please help spread the word on this good cause. Pint glasses also available online at the brewery website.

Oskar Blues (Longmont) has begun construction for their brand spanking new 16oz canning line. Once completed we'll all be able to take along even more Oskar Blues brew with us in cans! Stop back soon for more details on this new canning line.

Bristol Brewing (Colorado Springs) - Thursday, October 13th at 5:00pm at The Bristol Tasting Room. It's time once again for the return of our highly anticipated Winter Warlock Oatmeal Stout. This Great American Beer Festival® medal winning stout is loaded with dark roasted barley and 100 lbs of oatmeal in every batch for a dark and satisfying, smooth and rich winter elixer. Join Bristol Brewing for one of their favorite parties of the year as they welcome back their old friend the Warlock. They'll be tapping it on both CO2 and Nitro and it will also be available in six packs and growlers to go.

Pateros Creek Brewing (Fort Collins) is going pink! $2 from every pint of their Lady Moon Razzcherry Wheat this month will be donated to the Susan G. Komen organization in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Now let's get drinking! Drop in on Wednesdays from 4pm to 7pm for Pints & Purls - bring your craftiness and join in for camaraderie and beer while you knit, sew, bead, or whatever. Get $1 pints while you are crafting.

Colorado Mountain Brewery (Colorado Springs) will host the 1st Annual “SHOW US YOUR BRäU” Costume Contest! Come on out to CMB the whole week before Halloween and wear a Unibrau to get a free beer with purchase of an appetizer or entree! Some of us were blessed with a nice, bushy mame, and some of us have to fake it, but however you do it, earn a free beer with your unibrau. Then on 31 Oct at 7pm CMB will have their full scale Unibrau contest. The best dressed “Frau Brau” will win a growler a week for a full year! Yes, be Miss Unibrau and you will be adorned with fame, fortune and glory… or at least free beer for a year.

Durango Brewing Company (Durango) is releasing their Ghost Train in 22oz bottles. It's due to hit stores this Friday, October 14th. Look for it as well as their 2011 GABF Gold medal winning Durango Dark.

Crooked Stave (Fort Collins) has a fresh stock of hops and they are making a brew with all Colorado ingredients (malt, hops, yeast & water) today. Look for Fresh Hopped Golden Ale coming soon.

Crazy Mountain Brewing (Edwards) reminds you to SAVE THE DATE: Voodoo Fest, Crazy Mountain's Halloween party, is on Saturday the 29th there at the brewery. $20 entry fee gets you a couple of Voodoo Brews (new beer release), a plate of Moe's BBQ, door prizes and live music by Bluzilla. All proceeds benefit "Helping Haiti Build Back Better" after the devastating earthquake. WEAR COSTUMES!
