Rockslide Brewery (Grand Junction) is hosting two different Costume Parties on two successive nights. The first will be held on Friday, October 28th at 9:30pm at the brewery. 1st Place: $100, 2nd Place: $50 Gift Card, 3rd Place: Rockslide hat and shirt. Then on Saturday night, October 29th at 9:30pm they'll do it all over again with another set of identical prizes. Drink specials start at 8pm each night.

Colorado Craft Beer Radio (AM760 Denver) - Coming up this weekend on CCBR they'll be talking with Dan Hunninghake about the soon to re-open Libations Wine and Spirits. CCBR will also be sitting down with Jason Wiedmaier and John Winter of the soon to open Lone Tree Brewing Company. They'll also finish their recap of GABF. All this and more this Saturday at noon on AM760.

Southern Sun (Boulder) announces the return of their Smoke Screen Porter. Come to Southern Sun and get smokey with their Beechwood and Peated Smoked malt stocked porter, especially get one during Happy Hour.

Arvada Beer Company (Arvada) reminds everyone that their official opening day is still set for Friday, October 28th. Be there for opening night and sample all of their opening day brews. They're located at: 5600 Olde Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada, CO. (303) 467-BEER.

Left Hand Brewing (Longmont) is now offering several seasonal releases in their taproom including: Bard's Ale (English Mild), Haystack Wheat (German-style), Biere de Garde (Pro-Am Winner), Beer Week Sauce Coffee Porter, and Oktoberfest (Marzen). The Bard's Ale will be on special for the entire month at $3.25 per pint.

Pagosa Brewing Company (Pagosa Springs) - Spend Saturday with Pagosa Brewing Company as they celebrate Oktoberfest. All day long there will be food, beer and fun. Where your best Oktoberfest costume and enter the contest. Bring your own beer stein. There will be their fall fest bier on tap for the occasion. Feast on German Bratwurst and Red Cabbage, German Potato Salad and BIG German Pretzels with house-made cheese spread and beer mustard.

Wit's End Brewing (Denver) will have two new brews on tap for this weekend starting on Friday. Come try: Green Man Ale and Super FLi.p.a. - both are dry-hopped ales.

Ghost Plate & Tap (Denver) is sponsoring Keep the Glass Night every Wednesday this month. Raise a glass of beer with the artists behind their beer and wine list. Enjoy beer education, glassware giveaways and a drawing for beery goodies. Upcoming featured breweries include: Odell Brewing October 12th, Colorado Cider Company October 19th, and Firestone Walker October 26th. Runs from 5pm to 7pm each night.

Fort Collins Brewery (Fort Collins) - Attention Fly Fishermen! Come to "Buggers, Bugs, and Brews" tonight 3-6pm! Come and learn how to tie flies for Fly Fishing and drink some beer! The more you drink, the more creative your flies become???

Main Street Brewery (Cortez) - Halloween is almost here! Don't forget about their Halloween Haunted House. It will be October 28, 29, and 30 (Friday-Sunday). In the mean time stop on by for lunch today. They have a Stop Light Burger; fire roasted red bell peppers and pablano chiles with cheddar cheese on a sourdough bun with brew city fries or for something a little more healthy how about a Raspberry Chicken Salad. Main Street Brewery opens daily at 11am.

CooperSmith's Pub & Brewing (Fort Collins) is getting ready to shutdown their patio for the season. Also their Mountain Avenue Wheat beer is almost gone for the season. Stop in soon to enjoy one last one on the patio before the cold weather sets in and forces us all indoors for the rest of the year.

Great Divide Brewing (Denver) - Join GDBC on October 14th, from 6-9pm as they welcome back their fall seasonals: Hibernation Ale, Fresh Hop Pale Ale and Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout. Tickets are $20 at the door, cash only. The beer will be flowing, food will be served and we'll have a DJ spinnin' the tunes. See you there!

Renegade Brewing (Denver) - Renegade will be open this Monday from 3pm-8pm in preparation for opening 7 days a week! They are going to show you the love by offering happy hour prices all day Monday! That's right $3 beers all f'ing day. So show them some love and come in and drink their beers! Mondays are tough, don't make it worse by missing out on $3 beers.

Boulder Beer Company (Boulder) will start hosting Team Trivia nights starting tonight, October 12th and every Wednesday at 7pm. There will be a nightly prize of $25 off your tab or a case of beer! Also mid-season prizes (hats and a pony keg) and an end of the season prize for the best team ($250 gift card to the pub plus a keg!)

Funkwerks (Fort Collins) is hosting a Beer Pairing event at the brewery on Thursday night, October 20th from 7pm to 8:30pm. Featured pairings: Tropic King with Italian meatball sliders, Cochon with Jerk chicken mini-wraps, Belgian resistance with Korean short rib soft tacos, Chardonnay barrel Blonde with Portobello mushroom mini-wrap. Also desserts including: Cherry Saison with Pach Amaretto and Orange Cranberry cupakes. Call (970) 482-3865 for reservations.

Carbondale Beer Works (Carbondale) has the largest selection of draft beer in the valley area. They now have 13 taps online and pouring beers light to dark, hoppy to mild fermented goodness. Have you tried a Carbondale brew?

Rifle Brewing @ Sammy's on Park Ave (Rifle) now has their Pumpkin Ale on tap for the fall season. They will be pouring beer at the Chili Cook-off on Thursday, October 13th at the Garfield County Fairgrounds from 6pm to 8pm. They're bringing an IPA, Amber, Blonde and a Smokin' Barrel Chili beer!

Odell Brewing (Fort Collins) has a special Ginger Porter firkin tapping today in their taproom. One day only - hurry it won't last long. Special live music also today - Whiskers & Friends playing bluegrass. Come on down for a sip and a listen.

Crabtree Brewing (Greeley) - if it's Wednesday it must be $6 growler refill day. Your choice of: Head Turner Blonde, Ginger Bee, Dearfield, Berliner Weisse, Orange Blossom Cezanne Saison and Chunkin Pumpkin.

Mountain Sun (Boulder) is getting ready to make Killer Harvest Pumpkin Ale. Their Facebook page has a cool pic of 128 lbs of shredded pie pumpkins awaiting the boil. Look for this in the coming weeks.
