Moonlight Pizza & Brewery (Salida) - On November 9th, 2011 Moonlight Pizza's restaurant in Salida officially opened their brewery operations. They're starting out with two brews - an IPA and a beer they call Moon Lite. Today they've added their Wheat beer and Thursday they'll have an Amber Ale. They've posted a photo album on Facebook showing highlights of their new brewery and taps. Be sure to "Like" them to view their photos. There's even some craft sodas available as well on their 10-tap system. Please welcome the newest Colorado brewery to the Napa Valley of Beer!

Breckenridge Brewery (Denver) - Breck brew recently won two awards at the recent New Times Beerfest in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Breckenridge's Vanilla Porter won Best American Beer and also Best Overall Beer at the 14th annual beer festival sponsored by the Palm Beach New Times. Check out the article online for all the details and comments about this Colorado beer and how they impressed the folks in the south east. Breck's Vanilla Porter recently won a gold medal in the 2011 Denver International Beer Competition in the Specialty Beers category.

Loveland Ale Works (Loveland) - One of the new breweries coming to Colorado in 2012 is busily working on their construction phase at their facility in Loveland, Colorado. Loveland Ale Works (118 West 4th Street) was busy wrapping up plumbing today and will be finalizing the electrical later this week. Next up is the drywall hanging right after that. It won't be too long before everything will get wrapped up and then they can install the brewery equipment. Check out their Facebook page for all the latest pictures of their construction. Cactus Bend Brewing Company (Fort Collins) - It may not be open until next year, but if you become one of their first 250 fans on Facebook then you'll be invited to a private party at the brewery prior to their grand opening. Check them out on Facebook and you'll be one of the first to taste their new beers when they're available.

Pug Ryan's Steakhouse & Brewery (Dillon) - The expansion construction continues and Pug Ryan's doesn't want that to distract you from visiting. Come on in this week for 25% off all food and $2.50 pints of their hand-crafted beers. They're even throwing a Luv Brothers party on Saturday November 19th. Stop in this week for these specials.

Steamworks Brewing (Durango) will be closed today and tomorrow (November 14-15, 2011) for their annual maintenance and cleaning days. Don't worry, they'll re-open on Wednesday the 16th with all their beers intact.

Eddyline Brewing (Buena Vista) - The new canning line at Eddyline Brewing is working at top speed. Today, Eddyline posted a Facebook video showing their new 32-cans-per-minute" operation in action. Lots of new 16oz cans of Crank Yanker IPA are now waiting on shelves just for you. Check it out!

Bonfire Brewing (Eagle - Vail Valley) - Bonfire Brewing is throwing a party in celebration of staying in business for a full year on Saturday, November 19th at 12pm! They're hoping to raise a bunch of cash and goodies for SOS Outreach. They'll also light-up the tree for the first time this year as they celebrate one year in business, opening weekend at Vail, and beer. A voluntary $5 cover charge or worthy equipment donation gets you a free pint of your choice, some Moe's, and some dominating music. Schedule - 12pm-1pm: FREE BEER for the early-birds. One hour or one keg, whatever kicks first! 2-4pm: Food! 4pm-7pm: Justin & Pete. 7pm: Mug 61 Auction - They'll welcome one new mug club member as they auction mug #61 off with 100% of the proceeds going to SOS. 7:15pm: Tree Lighting. 8:30pm-11:30pm: Bonnie & the Beard. SOS is most in need of: Snowboard Bindings, particularly size large, Snowboards, Goggle, Helmets and Jackets.

West End Tavern (Boulder) - I'ts Belgian Beer Week at West End Tavern. They're celebrating a week of delicious Belgian beer from some of their favorite breweries in Belgium. Events include: Coast-to-Coast Toast on Tuesday November 15th in honoe of the 30th Anniversary of Vanberg & Dewulf importers of great Belgiun beers. Raise a glass of Saison Dupont at 5:30pm. Then on Thursday, November 17th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm stop in for a meet and greet with Jef Versele, 7th generation owner of the Van Steenberge brewery in Belgium and maker of Gulden Draak, Pirnat and Monk's Cafe. It's a 25 line tap takeover all this week. It all kicks off today with daily featured breweries. Located at 926 Pearl Street in Boulder. (303) 444-3535. Aspen Brewing Company (Aspen) - After months of delays, work installing the new brewery facility at the Aspen Airport Business Center is finally completed now and the guys as Aspen Brewing are waiting on final inspections this week. They'll be up and brewing in their new place very soon. Check out the pictures of their shiny new equipment on their Facebook page. The new equipment will reside next to their canning line. Their taproom is open in downtown Aspen at 304 East Hopkins Avenue. To celebrate they are offering 20% off their online merchandise if you "Like" their store. Bigger discounts available at their Tasting Room on Hopkins Avenue. Open Noon to late every day.

Freshcraft (Denver) - The popular beer & food place - Freshcraft - will be hosting an Autumn Food & Beer Pairing Dinner on Thursday, November 17th from 6pm to 8pm. Their kitchen will be playing with the tastes of fall, focusing largely on pastas and the ways that those flavors interplay with beers of the season. There will be a maximum of 40 tickets sold with seatings every half hour starting at 6pm. Ska Brewing (Durango) - Venture Snowboards and Ska Brewing are once again teaming up to welcome winter with our 7th Annual Season Kickoff Party scheduled for Saturday, December 3rd - opening day at Silverton Mountain! This year's Season Kickoff features live music from the Crags and Farmington Hill, Ska drink specials, and tons of giveaways from Purgatory, Purl Wax, Silverton Mountain, Silverton Powder Cats, Smith Optics, Skullcandy, Spark R&D, TREW Gear, and Wolf Creek Ski Area among others. The highlight of the evening will be the raffle for a coveted limited edition Ska/Venture custom snowboard. This year's deck features the Euphoria Pale Ale graphic and the distinctive Venture snowflake, and is destined to become a collector’s item for beer and snow lovers alike. The Season Kickoff Party gets rockin' at 8 pm at Silverton's Grand Imperial Hotel (1219 Greene Street). Cover charge is $6 and this is a 21+ event. Avery Brewing (Boulder) - Come on down to the Avery Tap Room at 6pm this evening for the monthly drinking session also known as the Homebrewer and Bottle Collectors Support Group.
