Trinity Brewing (Colorado Springs) will host an art exhibit "Tao of Metal" at the brewery on December 9th and 10th from 5pm to 9pm and 5pm to 8pm respectively. Come view nature-inspired sculpture and enjoy a pint or two. Drop in at 1466 Garden of the Gods. More info at taoofmetal.com.

Vertical Brewing (Denver) - This new brewery in the works may not be open yet, but that isn't stopping them from kegging some beer. Vertical Brewing kegged their "Smooth Hoperator" this week and plan to be brewing again in two weeks. What will become of their beer? Guess we'll have to wait a while longer to find out.

Crabtree Eclipse Black IPA cansCrabtree Brewing (Greeley) - Today, November 29th, Crabtree Brewing will inaugurate their first canned beer as they will use the portable canning line from Mobile Canning of Longmont to package their Eclipse Black IPA in 16oz cans. Having a low barrier to entry with the mobile canning line was the deciding point for owner and brewery Jeff Crabtree. Avery Brewing (Boulder) - Join Avery this Wednesday at the Ale House at Amato's in Denver for the Avery Tasting and Small Plates event. There are only a couple tickets left for this late fall dinner featuring four small plates prepared by the Ale House chefs and five beer tastings expertly paired. $25 per person - 7:00pm~ Reservations Required. Arvada Beer Company (Arvada) - Next Tuesday, December 6th, all day - come in to Arvada Beer for Colorado Gives Day. Make a donation to Ralston House online or at the brewery and they'll give you a free beer. www.ralstonhouse.net. Help provide services for abused children and their families.

Crazy Mountain Brewing (Edwards) - Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, their American style ESB is almost ready!!! The first keg will be tapped Wednesday afternoon, November 30th. Stop in from 5-6pm and your first H&H is only $2.00. If you really want to show you love for this beer, dress up as either a horse or a hand grenade and you will get 3 FREE BEERS! Check out their expansion construction while you're there. Keep it crazy everyone!

New Belgium Shift Pale Lager 4-packsNew Belgium Brewing (Fort Collins) - Want to get a sneak peak at the new packaging for New Belgium's upcoming Shift Pale Lager in the tallboy 4-pack? Well take a look. New Belgium will soon package 16oz cans of Fat Tire, Ranger IPA and Shift Pale Lager once the new canning line construction is completed. 2012 can't come soon enough. Also, New Belgium's selection of a city to house their 2nd brewery has been narrowed down to 4 cities including Asheville, NC and Philadelphia, PA. Which city do you think they should expand to? Fort Collins Brewery (Ft. Collins) - The Fort Collins Brewery is expanding again! They have two new 150 barrel fermentation vessels due to arrive on Friday. Business is good and that means more beer for the masses coming soon. Also, don't forget that this Friday, December 2nd, marks the annual release of BIG SHOT - their English style Brown Ale winter warmer. Get some!

Equinox Brewing (Fort Collins) - Announcing their Winter Solstice Party! Join in to celebrate the Winter Solstice on Saturday, December 17th. Live music from 2:00 to 6:30 in the beer garden and from 7:00 to 9:00 in the tap house. There will be a special beer release and tasty treats from Chef Happy. Bring your wish list and your camera because Santa Claus is going to be in the tap house at 2:00pm!

Ouray Brewery (Ouray) will be closed for fall cleaning today through Thursday. Ouray Brewery will be back open on Friday, December 2nd at 5pm. Apparently the place needed a good scrub down so it can sparkle once again. The beer will be flowing again soon - no worries!

Backcountry Pizza & Tap House (Boulder) - Gather round for one last beer celebration before the holidays. Backcountry is hosting a Mikkeller IPA event on Thursday, December 22nd at 6:30pm featuring 18 4-oz IPA pours along with some freakingly awesome hors d'oeuvres. Featuring the beers of Mikkeller. Yak & Yeti (Arvada) - Have you tried the Yak & Yeti recently? Their hand crafted beer list has grown and offers something for every beer lover.
