February 2012February is a time for playing in the snow, skiing, boarding and keeping warm. While the number of events scheduled during February tend to be low, there are always drink and food specials going on at most Colorado breweries. And let's not forget about Valentine's Day and Mardi Gras events. This page will be updated often as news of upcoming February events are announced.

Here is a list of the upcoming Colorado beer fests, beer dinners, tapping parties, seminars and related events for February 2012. These listings are updated every week, so stop back often to see the latest happenings with beer in Colorado. You'll find at least 12 different stouts on tap at each location.

Once upon a time, in a land not so far away in a beautiful village called Durango, there were princesses and woodsmen, wolves and fairies, some pigs and even a few billy goats gruff. And in the winter they all came down with a serious case of cabin fever! Yikes! The cure? SNOWDOWN! The original cabin fever reliever! February 1-5, 2012, they donned costumes and played all sorts of games for 5 days of fun and hilarity! Some attended the Fashion Do's & Don'ts on Wednesday and others attended the Kid's Follies! Some of the more intrepid residents played golf at the Josie Pete Golf Tournament on Saturday while others finished off the celebration with the La Plata County Pancake Breakfast and Silent Auction on Sunday. Plenty of beer related activities sponsored by the 4 local Durango breweries including a Waiter/Waitress Race (for beer), a Beer'd Growing Contest, Beer Pong Tournament, Polar Beer Plunge, a beer Burping contest, plus a big chili cook-off with lots of beer!

There will be six different Firestone Walker beers paired with some unique tastes including: seared foie gras with Velvet Merlin, Cedar plank salmon with Double Barrel Ale, Cheese puff pastry with Sucaba (Abacus spelled backwards), a tropical salad with Union Jack IPA, Lamb with Oaktoberfest, and a Key Lime Pie with 15th Anniversary ale.
