Aspen Brewing Company – Press Release - December 14, 2011

For Immediate Release:

Aspen Brewing Company’s new brewery, located at 404 Aspen Airport Business Center, is complete and fully operational. After final building inspections were completed on Monday, Aspen’s Head Brewer Chase Engel fired up the brewing system with a batch of Conundrum Red Ale. The 6400 square foot brewery is home to a new 20-barrel brew house and three 40-barrel fermenters. That means a lot more Independence Pass Ale and This Season’s Blond to go around Aspen this winter. In addition, Aspen Brewing Company will release their first batches of Blonde and IPA in cans this holiday season. You can purchase Aspen’s finest brew on draft and in cans throughout the Roaring Fork Valley in bars, restaurants, and liquor stores. The new facility will allow Aspen Brewing Company to produce approximately 2000 barrels of beer in the coming year, with plenty of room for future growth and distribution throughout Colorado.

The tasting room will remain at 304 East Hopkins Ave, in downtown Aspen and is now serving food from Aspen’s Over Easy CafĂ©. Tours of the brewery are available, please check for an up to date schedule.

Thank you.
