Celebrate Repeal Day - December 5th is a major holiday in the world of craft beer. Repeal Day commemorates the end of Prohibition, which made it possible once again to buy, sell and consume alcoholic beverages in America. Ginger Johnson ( says: "There’s no doubt that Prohibition had an enormous impact on American brewers. The popularity and fascination with the topic continues to be celebrated and talked about every year on December 5 (1933), the anniversary of the ratification of the 21st Amendment which repealed Prohibition. The 18th Amendment, which made Prohibition law, was arguably the only amendment in the United States Constitution to restrict rights rather than expand them." - Just a friendly reminder that we should always strive to protect our rite to enjoy a cold beer in this country. Plan a Repeal Day party of your own!
