Twisted Pine Brewing (Boulder) - Like to try something uniquely different? Twisted Pine's Poison Fish is back on tap! If you haven't tried their ginger, wasabi, horseradish root and mustard seed ale yet you are missing out on a bizarre, delicious and sushi-rific beer!

Grimm Brothers Brewhouse (Loveland) - Attention local Colorado bands! If you are in a local band or know of a few good ones, have them email with "Band" in the subject. Grimm Brothers are looking for lots of original talent to present in their newly expanded taproom in the weeks ahead. Also, Come to their new taproom Grand Opening on Friday, December 9th starting at 1pm. There's more Seating, 8 Beers on tap, Door Prizes, new merchandise, their own coffee blend, 2400 Year old Redwood bar top, custom tables, hoodies. Venture just across the parking lot from the brewery to 623 N Denver Ave in Loveland and check it out.

Beer-related Laws in Boulder - According to the, the Boulder City Council recently approved rule changes in town that would allow Boulder's craft breweries, wineries and distilleries to start food service within their premises. This will allow restaurants to be operated on site from 5am to 11pm. This is bound to be a favorable boon to Boulder's breweries, especially in light of the fact that Avery Brewing was considering leaving Boulder at one point so that they could open up a restaurant within a new facility they wanted to build. The rule change didn't come without some objection by local parent groups, however. They didn't want expanded operations to open across the street from local elementary schools. is hosting a vote for the best canned beers of 2011. Colorado breweries need your support! Head to this link and vote in each category for your favorites. The polls stay open through December 29th. Vote early! Vote often! Vote Colorado!

Pateros Creek Brewing (Fort Collins) - Beer dinner alert! Pateros Creek and Vincent's Restaurant of Fort Collins is planning a 5-course beer dinner paired with 5 different PCBC beers on Thursday, December 15th at Vincent's, 902 W. Drake (at Drake and Sheilds). Food, beer, giveaways and talking with the brewer will be the activities in store! More details to come soon!

Telluride Brewing Company (Telluride) will close the brewery early today at 4:30 today. They will instead be at the LLama in Telluride for NOEL Night!!! Bridal Veil Rye Pale Ale and their New Chocolate Espresso Stout will debut!! They will also be selling TBC Schwag!! Including the new Telluride Brewing Belt Buckles!

Great Divide Brewing (Denver) - Going to be at Keystone on Thursday December 8th? If so, look for the wandering Yeti in the "Free Yeti Hugs" t-shirt. If you give him a hug you will get a FREE Beer in return! Need another reason to Head for the Hills?
