Copper Kettle Brewing Company (Denver) is almost ready to release their new Belgian Golden Strong Ale this Saturday, December 17th at 5pm. It's been kegged and conditioning for two months and it's finally at it's prime.

Yak & Yeti (Arvada) - The web designers have been busy. Check out the new web site look over at www.theyakandyeti.com and their associated Brewmaster's blog at theyakandyeti.blogspot.com. Keep up with all of their latest happenings.

Beer Bloggers Conference (2012) - Beer Bloggers! It's never too early to sign up for the 2012 Beer Bloggers Conference. This year's conference will be in Indianapolis, IN this coming July and for those in Europe, the 2012 conference will be held in Leeds in the UK in May. I signed up for Indy this last weekend. Dry Dock Brewing Company (Aurora) - Tonight's the night! Join Dry Dock today, and every Monday, as they collaborate with Wing Hut Aurora for POWER HOUR! From 5:30pm to 6:30pm, Jared and his crew of hot wing specialists will be on location, slinging wings for 25 cents apiece!! 50 lbs of wings went down last week, and they're just getting started. Take a break from your holiday demands, and stop by Dry Dock for some wings and brew!

Odell Brewing (Fort Collins) - Word on the street from Beernews.org is that brewer Joe Mohrfeld is planning to leave Odell Brewing Company and the end of January and strike out on his own. Joe has plans to open up a new brewery & restaurant in Austin, Texas called: Pinthouse Pizza. Target date for their opening is in mid-2012. Best of luck to Joe in his new endeavors.

Avery Brewing Company (Boulder) is bringing back Trogdor the Burninator - a Smoked Doppelbock Lager on draft only starting today, December 12th. Stay tuned for word on availability.

Steamworks Brewing (Durango) - These are the last four days to get a screamin' deal on a lift ticket! Visit Steamworks Brewing Company by Thursday, December 15th, spend $20 and get a voucher for a FREE lift ticket at Purgatory/DMR with a purchased ticket on Monday, December 26th! All ticket users must be present when lift tickets are purchased at DMR - no exceptions. No cash value. Lift ticket voucher must be presented at DMR's Main Ticket Office for redemption.

Pikes Peak Brewing (Monument) - Their East India Porter is being released today. This one shares a heritage with the IPA, but has a nice roasty profile. Once the drink of the British enlisted, this recipe was revived from a historic note of the East India Trading Company.

Fort Collins Brewery (Ft. Collins) announces their Brew Year's Eve Bootleggers Bash party at their Gravity Ten Twenty Restaurant at the brewery (December 31st). Start the night out with a beer dinner anytime from 4pm to 10pm. There will be live 30's era music from 7pm to 12am. The casino room opens at 7pm. There'll be a Beer Keg Pinata smash at 7pm and 9pm. A special tapping of their barrel-aged Double Chocolate Stout at 9pm. Then dance your ass off at the dance contest at 10pm. There'll be a late night buffet starting at 10pm, a costume contest and raffle at 11pm. Then another tapping at 11:45pm of their barrel-aged Doppel Bock. And top it off with a brewer's toast at midnight. Hotel deals / Shuttle Service Available. Reservations required.

Ska Brewing and Steamworks Brewing (Durango) are both co-hosting the Backcoutnry Experience Brewski Demofest on December 17th and 18th at Purgatory - Durango Mountain Resort. Backcountry Experience BrewSKI Demofest brings winter sports and local craft beer together for one exciting weekend at Durango Mountain Resort. Try out new winter sports equipment like snowshoes, backcountry packs and avalanche gear; demo alpine skis, tele skis, snowboards, snowbikes and more; then savor delicious samples of local award-winning craft beers from Steamworks Brewing Company and Ska Brewing. Loveland Ale Works (Loveland) - Their new brewery construction is coming along faster than expected. They will be opening in mid-February in Loveland. They will be laying tile all this week and installing their brewing equipment soon after that. Get ready for even more great beer in Loveland.

Crazy Mountain Brewery (Edwards) - BEER UPDATE! Snow Cat Coffee Stout will be released on Wednesday afternoon December 14th, not today. The first 50 people on Wednesday will get a CMBC pint glass and a beer for $6.00. See everyone on Wednesday at 5pm!

Pateros Creek Brewing (Fort Collins) is co-hosting a beer dinner at Vincent's Restaurant in FoCo on Thursday, December 15th at 6:30pm. Come down to Vincent’s Restaurant and prepare to be wowed with a five course meal paired with five Pateros Creek Brews. Food, beer, giveaways and talking with the brewer will be the activities in store! Check out the menu HERE! Vincent's is at 902 W. Drake (Drake & Sheilds) in Fort Collins. Cost: $30 per person. Oldest Bartender (Dunlap, IA) - How would you like to be still working and tending bar when you're 100? A man in Dunap Iowa is doing just that and he still manages to put away a couple of beers for his 100th birthday party. Check out the video interview of this long-lived bartender.

New Belgium, Odell Brewing, Fort Collins Brewery (Fort Collins) are all designated Winter Bike to Work Day break stations this Wednesday, December 14th. If you live in Fort Collins, ride your bike to work and stop by New Belgium in the morning between 7am - 9:30am for a free ankle strap and other specials (breakfast). Then after work, bike over to Odell Brewing and/or Fort Collins Brewery for live music, snacks and bike prizes. Bike technicians will also be on hand at the breweries and 16 other morning stations to help you fix your bike if you need assistance.

Odell Brewing (Fort Collins) announces that they are once again bottling another run of Saboteur - a Brett Barrel Brown Ale. The beer will be release once the brew has finished bottle conditioning. Look for it in early January 2012.
