Rock Bottom Breweries (Colorado) has kicked off their "12 Days of Holiday Cheer" starting today 12/13 and running through 12/24. They're stuffing your stockings with special offers. Rock Bottom will be pulling goodies out of Santa's Sleigh for all to enjoy. There is a special gift each day, so be sure to read this list and check it twice. Try one of their special brews while you're there.

Grimm Brothers Brewhouse (Loveland) - Their brand new taproom is closed today to undergo some needed fixes and repairs. Seems like growing pains caused some unforeseen issues with their new taproom. They apologize for the inconvenience, but they should be back open by tomorrow (Wednesday).

Bonfire Brewing (Eagle) is hosting a Hardscrabble Holiday Hootenanny this Friday, December 16th at the brewery from 8pm to 11pm. The brewery describes this event as follows: "Christmas time's a comin'...the shitter's almost full. Join us and our friends at Bonfire Brewing for Christmas celebration Appalachian style! This holiday hootenanny will be fueled by strong beer and rippin' bluegrass, with the band awarding prizes for the best white-trashed themed holiday attire. You ain't gonna want to miss this one!" - The brewery is located at 127 Second Street in Eagle, CO.

Rockyard Brewing (Castle Rock) is very sad to report that sales of their Bourbon Barrel Stout has gone better than expected. The current batch has sold out. But fear not! A second batch is currently gettin' some wood and will be along shortly. Rockyard tasted the barrels last week, and she needs a little more time. They will keep us posted on their progress.

Breckenridge Brewery (Denver) - Join Breckenridge Brewery and TEBO (the original one in town) for MEET THE BREWER night at the Wazee Supper Club in Denver, CO this Thursday 12/15) from 6PM to 8PM. You'll be tasting Agave Wheat, Vanilla Porter and Christmas Ale. Buy a Christmas Ale and keep the commemorative Christmas Ale pint glass. Location: 1600 15th Street in Denver.

Aspen Brewing Company (Aspen) - Their Blonde, IPA and Brown are back in Aspen! Check out their new tap handles and their beers on draft throughout the valley at: The Artisan Restaurant, Big Hoss Grill, Belly Up, Brick Pony, Carbondale Beer Works, Finbarr's, Fine Line, Highlands Pizza, J-Bar, Little Annie's, Mountain Chalet, Out of Bounds, Red Onion, Silverqueen, Sky Bar, Wheeler & Viceroy.

Equinox Brewing (Fort Collins) is warning their bicycle riding patrons that unfortunately they have had at least a couple of bikes stolen from the Equinox parking lot in the past couple of weeks. These were nice bikes that were locked. They are in the process of installing a video surveillance system but everyone please be aware of bike thieves. Seems like the Grinch is out early this year.

Backbone Gourmet Grub & Brewhouse and Grimm Brothers Brewhouse are offering a local beer tapping party/food pairing event to unveil Grimm Brothers newest brew – The Griffin – on Thurs. Dec. 15 at 6:00 p.m. The Backbone is the only restaurant that will be serving The Griffin AND is the only location to pair delicious food with the brew. Russell Fruits, Grimm Brother’s beer evangelist will kick off the tapping party at 6:00 p.m. with some details about the new brew as well as complimentary beer samples. Attendees are welcome to stay after the tapping to enjoy more beer or pair the beer with a recommended dish item from the Backbone menu (available for the standard prices.) Following the tapping, Grimm’s hefeweizen will become a new specialty beer on tap at the Backbone for a limited time. Location: 1480 Cascade Avenue in Loveland, CO.

Star Bar (Denver) is planning another exciting week in LoDo. Karaoke tonight and Thursday. Wednesday it's FU CAN EH night with $3 select craft cans all night!! Don't forget Beer & Chocolate Pairing with Great Divide Brewing Co. and The Chocolate RX on Thursday @ 6pm. Plus, great bands this weekend. Friday Night - The Hillbilly Hellcats and Saturday Night - The Longest Day of the Year. Stop in after work for Happy Hour M-F 4-7pm to end your day with a great beer or cocktail.

Yak & Yeti (Arvada) - The next beer in their series of continuing Wednesday releases is the Yak & Yeti Vanilla Porter. This brew will be on tap at 4pm on December 14th.

Dad & Dude's Breweria (Aurora) - speaking of vanilla porters, Dad & Dude's just tapped their own Cherry Vanilla Porter today. Stop by and try one while its still there.

Pumphouse Brewery (Longmont) - Free Beer!!! That is, you'll get a free pint with every $20 gift card purchase you make. It's like giving a gift to your friend AND yourself!

Ale House at Amato's (Denver) - Only two days until their 12 Beers of Christmas celebration! Join Breckenridge, Firestone Walker, Great Divide, Upslope, Renegade & Left Hand Breweries...taste some great beers & enter to win a trip to Vegas or a new Rockband system! All proceeds go to Starlight Foundation. What better a way to spend a Thursday night! Location: 2501 16th Street in Denver.

Dry Dock Brewing Company (Aurora) - They're down to the last of the Half Moon Pumpkin Ale. If you come in today and help us free up a tap you'll get $3 pints and $8 growlers of this fine pumpkin ale.

Twelve Degree Brewing (Louisville) - Today the Boulder Daily Camera ran an article about an up and coming brewery headed for Main Street in Louisville, Colorado. Jon Howland plans to open up Twelve Degree Brewing by early summer in 2012. Twelve Degree Brewing would specialize in Belgian Trappist-style brews which include Cezanne, Saison Dupont, tripel and quadrupel ales. The targeted facility is small, only 1500 square feet and would include a taproom. He plans to brew up as much as 400 barrels a year.

Colorado Mountain Brewery (Colorado Springs) - The "12 Beers of Christmas" started today at 3pm!!! They will release a new winter beer every day at 3 from now until Christmas Eve. Tonight is the smokey Christmas porter. Come on in tonight and give it a try!
