Copper Kettle Brewing (Denver) - Starting January 9th, 2012 every Monday night will be Pub Trivia night at Copper Kettle. There will be two rounds of competition, one at 6pm and one at 7pm. Winners get one free round of beer!

Prost Brewing Company (Denver) is moving another step closer to becoming reality. This week, Bill from Prost is headed to Germany to oversee the final stages of dismantling of the equipment they bought over there and will help with preparation to ship the brewhouse from there to Colorado. They plan to bring back everything at the old brewery that isn't bolted down. Stay tuned in 2012!

Elk Mountain Brewing (Parker) - Every Wednesday from 4pm to 9pm is Firkin Wednesday at Elk Mountain Brewing where they'll tap a new cask conditioned brew. This week's firkin on December 21st will be a Coffee Stout. Give yourself an early holiday gift of a pint.

Gore Range Brewery (Edwards) - Need a last minute holiday gift? Gore Range just got in a new stock of t-shirts, hoodies and more for all you procrastinators! Fill up a growler while you're at it too.

Hunters Moon Meadery (Severance) is hosting a December deal on mead. Get $2 off all 750ml bottles of mead when you visit the meadery in Severance. Location: 401 Immigrant Trail. www.huntersmoonmeadery.com

Avery Brewing (Boulder) - On Thursday, January 12th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm start the year off right by getting back to the basics! This beer event is hosted by Avery's Sisterhood of the Hop, which gets women interested in and educated about the art and science of brewing and tasting beer. All genders welcome! The "Back to Beer Basics" event will explore the ingredients and process of brewing, followed by a guided tasting and food pairing. Join in whether you're a beer novice or a homebrewer! Cost is $7, which includes beer tasters and paired hors d'oeuvres. Please RSVP and pay at the door.

Freshcraft (Denver) is planning a special New Years Eve tapping of Firestone Walker XV Anniversary Ale starting at 10:00pm and running until 1:30am. It's one of Firestone Walkers most sought after beers of the year. Stop by at 1530 Blake Street to toast in 2012.

Fort Collins Brewery (Fort Collins) has an array of brews for us this season including Big Shot (a hazelnut brown ale), Poppy's Pappy (a Trappist stout), and Woody (an oak aged American strong ale). Find these at FCB's tasting room. Also, for you Michigan readers, Fort Collins Brewery beers are coming to Michigan. You can now find all their brews throughout the mitten state.

Avery Brewing (Boulder) - Anybody want a free keg? Avery Brewing Company is hosting a food drive along with Conscious Alliance to benefit Boulder Community Food Share! This wonderful organization is running extremely low on the following items: Pasta Sauce, Peanut Butter, Tuna, Canned Fruit, Cold & Hot Cereal, and 100% Fruit Juice. For every 2 items of these six you donate, Avery will give you 1 raffle ticket towards a free keg. There is no limit on the amount of raffle tickets you can accumulate. The more donated food the merrier! Swing by the Avery Tap Room to donate and grab a pint! The food drive runs through December 30th.

Great Divide Brewing (Denver) is staging a total tap takeover at the Rackhouse Pub on New Year's Eve. Over 20 Great Divide brews including the new Nomad will be available for tasting. There will even be a Stranahan's Midnight toast. Music by Whiskey King Coalition will be playing and there's no cover charge! Head to 208 South Kalamath Street in Denver. www.rackhousepub.com

Odell Brewing (Fort Collins) - the totals are in, during the 2011 brewing year, Odell brewed up over 75 different pilot brews. That's a LOT of different brews, most of which never got bottled but were served on tap in their tasting room. Look for a lot more pilot brews in 2012!

Mountain Sun (Boulder), Southern Sun and Vine Street Pub all will be offering a special holiday gift to all of their customers. All three locations will be changing over their tap walls today to present a special selection of rare Mountain Sun beers! On tap at each pub today: Chardonnay Barrel Aged Franklins Strong Golden Ale, Petite Syrah Barrel Aged Strong Dark Ale, Dirty Dark Sour Belgian Ale, Olde Skiddy English Barley Wine, 2010 Stoked Oak Stout, Double Down English Strong Brown Ale, and Makers Mark Barrel Aged Double Down. Also try the debut of their brand new winter pale ale, the Galactic Winter Turtle!

Avery Brewing - More Avery news posted on TheFullPint.com today. We can expect to see slight price increases on most Avery beers in 2012, but increases will vary by market. Avery will be changing its can supplier to Ball Corporation in order to get better graphic quality on their cans. Avery is also adding 2500 square feet in warehouse space and adding another 240 barrel fermenter tank, an in-line carbonator and a second kegging line.

MillerCoors (Golden) - In partnership with the Denver Regional Transportation District (RTD) and Colorado Department of Transportation, Coors Light is providing free transit rides on New Year's Eve in the Denver metro area. Cab vouchers are being offered at key accounts in nearly 20 markets across the country to help encourage consumers to choose alternative transportation rather than drive under the influence. Ask your bartender if they will be participating.

Crabtree Brewing (Greeley) - Mmmmm, can't you just taste the warm goodness of an oatmeal raisin cookie? How about the liquid equivalent? Aged in whiskey barrels with caramelized raisins, Stephanie's Oatmeal Raisin Cookie is perfect on a cold winter's day. Their 4th release in the 750 mL Barrel-Aged Series will be available this Thursday in the Tasting Room from 7:30pm to 10:00 pm!! Make sure you swing by the brewery to purchase your bottle of this Limited Release before it's gone!
