Copper Kettle Brewing (Denver) has brewed up more Better Half IPA and it's now back on tap. This brew was originally created by home brewers and is made with 7 different styles of hops. Its dry hopped with a grassy aroma and has a clean finish. Stop in before they close on Friday.

Avery Brewing (Boulder) is kicking off the 1st day of 3 straight days of tapping a keg of Rumpkin. Stop by the tasting room by 5pm to get a glass of this rum barrel aged Pumpkin ale. There'll be 1 keg for each day (Wed, Thurs, Fri). Need we say more?

Freshcraft (Denver) - 12/24/11 Saturday Special Tapping Series: The Brewery 4 Calling Birds & Port Santa's Little Helper. When they open at 11:00 am on 12/24 Freshcraft will be tapping two of the best and most sought after Christmas themed beers around - 4 Calling Birds from The Bruery and Santa's Little Helper from Port Brewing Company. They will be doing last call on 12/24 at 4:00 pm so that their team can spend some holiday time with their families, so get down there early if you can. Then come back on New Years Eve for a tapping of Stone Vertical Epic 11.11.11 at 11am. Later that night at 10pm they will also tap Firestone Walker's XV Anniversary Ale.

Black Bottle Brewery (Fort Collins) - It's stills a ways off, but brewery in the making Black Bottle Brewery is busy making beer in their garage and perfecting their recipes for their eventual opening sometime in 2012. Check out this article from the Coloradoan on one of their upcoming brews.

Fort Collins Brewery (Fort Collins) - Know what makes a Double Chocolate Stout even better? Pair it with chocolate of course! Fermentedly Challenged puts FCB's Double Chocolate Stout to a review and discovers that M&M's make an awesome pairing with this powerful imperial stout. Yum!

Colorado State University (Fort Collins) - No, they're not throwing a kegger, instead they're sharing the results of a recent study of the impact local breweries have on the Larimer County economy. Check out this article from CSU and see why breweries make most everyone a bit happier in Northern Colorado.

Star Bar (Denver) is sponsoring Drink "The Gauntlet" with Avery Brewing. This ought to make Avery fans happy. They've set up a goal for you. Starting today, 12/21 at 6pm, they challenge you to drink 30 Avery beers (aka the Gauntlet) which comprises 16 core beers and 14 additional beers in six weeks time (by February 6th, 2012). If you accomplish this task you'll get a VIP tour of the Avery brewery, barrel room and tap room with transportation provided. Simple right?
