Hops & Berries to open second store

Hops & BerriesNorthern Colorado Homebrewers! Hops & Berries of Fort Collins is expanding. And since their small shop doesn't have room on site to expand, they've announced their intentions to open up a second store. Their December 2011 Newsletter made the announcement today about their upcoming plans. Read below for the official word from their newsletter.

Hops & Berries - The Big News:

Everyone agrees that we’ve outgrown our little corner of Old Town, right? Well… we’re excited to announce the opening of a second and much larger Hops & Berries very soon in the New Year. Two stores means more room, more selection and availability, which means more buying power and lower prices! All of you out-of-towners can expect easy highway access, and the townies can hopefully get in and out of our Old Town store with a little less fuss and a little more elbow room. This also means our staff will have more personal attention and service. We will keep you updated on the details as they evolve.

On the subject, we’re also happy to say that Nate Boot has been promoted to Assistant Manager of the Old Town store, to give Taylor the slack to get the second store up and running. We have full confidence in Nate’s customer service and ever-growing knowledge of brewing. With Jake and Mike backing him up we’re certain you’ll get everything you need. If not, let us know and we’ll give him a good pounding.

Update - April 9th, 2012 - The official Grand Opening date for the 2nd Hops & Berries homebrew store (Hops & Berries South) is set for the weekend of April 20-22. They are located at: 8133 E. Harmony Road Unit 16 in Fort Collins, CO.
