Beer and Pretzels a perfect match at Renegade

Renegade Brewing and Denver PretzelThis Saturday, January 28th marks the 4th installment of the beer and pretzel pairing between Renegade Brewing Company and Denver Pretzel Company. The two companies regularly partner on Saturdays to serve up hot pretzels and beer to patrons, but throughout the month of January they have been doing traditional pretzel toppers that are served atop a beer. So far the pairings have been:

Week 1: A chocolate peanut butter pretzel paired with Black Gold Imperial Peanut Butter Cup Stout

Week 2: Renegrain pretzel, a pretzel made from the spent grain of a batch of Elevation, and Elevation based mustard paired with Elevation IPA3

Week 3: A chile relleno pretzel infused with Poblano peppers and Jack cheese paired with Una Mas, a Mexican amber with roasted Poblano peppers.

For the final week, back by popular demand, will be the chocolate peanut butter pretzel paired with Black Gold Imperial Peanut Butter Cup Stout. “The pretzel combos sold unbelievably quickly last time we did this pairing”, stated Brian O’Connell, Chief Beer Officer of Renegade, “So I recommend getting here early if you want to get one!”

Renegade is located at 925 w 9th Ave in Denver, just West off Sante Fe at 9th Ave in the Arts District. Doors open at 2pm this Saturday. 720-401-4089
