Big Beaver Brewing (Loveland) - Loveland newspaper The Reporter Herald did a piece on Big Beaver last week describing the expansion activity going on at Big Beaver Brewing. Owner Peter Villenueve recently installed a new 315 square foot cooler and expanded his seating area that will now fit up to 85 customers. The larger area now offers live music on Sundays.

Copper Kettle Brewing (Denver) - There are two new release events posted today. The first is for their KettleWeizen, a hefeweizen, scheduled for release at a party on Friday, February 3rd from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Then the second brew is their much anticipated Imperial Breakfast Bourbon Stout due to be released at a party on Saturday, February 4th at 12:00pm to 9:00pm. Food will be available for both events.

New Belgium (Fort Collins) - New Belgium's new Spring seasonal beer Dig has hit the shelves already and is starting to show up in stores. Dig, Cocoa Mole and Biere de Mars all hit the tap towers in the Liquid Center today. Meanwhile, plans for announcing a site for their East coast expansion have been delayed again until late March or early April. New Belgium spokesman Bryan Simpson told the Coloradoan that Sierra Nevada's announcement was "...not a deal maker or deal breaker".

Beer & Food Events - The last beer events of the month happen today in Denver. TAG Restaurant at 1441 Larimer is hosting a beer dinner at 7:00pm tonight. Cost is $58 a person and will feature the beers of Tommyknocker Brewery and selections from Colorado's Best Beef Company. Then cross town at Great Divide Brewing Company is another in a great series of Beer & Cheese pairings starting at 6:30pm. Cost is $24 and RSVP required to sharon@greatdivide.com.

Mountain Sun (Boulder) - Southern Sun (Boulder) - Vine Street Pub & Brewery (Denver) - Tomorrow officially starts their annual STOUT MONTH! A month-long celebration of everything stout beer will happen in all 3 locations. Nearly a dozen taps at each location will be dedicated exclusively to different varieties of stout beer. Stop by any location and succumb to the dark side!

River North Brewery (Denver) - The grand opening for River North Brewery has officially been set for February 18th and 19th in LoDo at 2401 Blake Street. Plan to stop by and check them out and their new taproom! Visit them on the web at: www.rivernorthbrewery.com and on Facebook.

Bristol Brewing Company (Colo. Springs) - The Beerocrat (Laura Long) is looking for volunteer Ambeersadors to pour and represent Bristol at festivals and events this year. Ambeersadors know our beer, fit in with our culture, act nice to people, work hard, have fun, drink beer, and earn prizes. Think you have what it takes? Black Bottle Brewery (Fort Collins) - Sean Nook, brewer/owner, just announced that he has signed a lease on a location for his new upcoming brewery. Black Bottle Brewery will be located at: 1605 South College Avenue near the intersection of Prospect and Collage Avenue. Sean plans to be open by early Summer. Next step is to apply for their liquor license and finish up some bidding. Stay tuned for more details.

Main Street Brewery (Cortez) - The crew at Main Street Brewery left this message on Facebook today: "We are officially on vacation for ten days. See you all on Friday, February 10 at 11 am." - Sounds like Cortez will be running dry for several days.

Odell Brewing (Fort Collins) - Today Odell Brewing officially announced that their latest single serve batch Footprint RegionAle will be released on February 11th. Read all about it in their official press release.

Lucky Pie (Louisville) - Join Lucky Pie and the Colorado Brewers Guild on Saturday, February 4th from 2pm to 5pm for a very special event - Super Firkin Saturday! If you love beer then this is your chance to experience drinking a real cask ale!
- Bristol Brewing • Winter Warlock with cinnamon and habaƱero.
- Left Hand Brewing • Stranger Pale Ale
- Avery Brewing • New World Porter
- Black Fox Brewing • Somnombulance with Raspberries: A Belgian brown ale aged on coffee vanilla beans and caramel.
Only $20 per person includes a glass of each specialty beer, Lucky Pie munchies and a chance to meet representatives from each of the four breweries. Proceeds will benefit the Colorado Brewers Guild. Space is limited, buy your tickets in advance at Lucky Pie or call 303-666-5743.

Tommyknocker Brewery (Idaho Springs) - For a limited time, get $3.50 drafts from 4pm to 6pm on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays. Free giveaways every 30 minutes during this time. Also, get ready for their Hot Dog Eating Contest on February 10th (limit 10 people) and also a Frozen T-Shirt Contest on February 24th.
