Pateros Creek begins preparing for cans

Pateros Creek Brewing CompanyThe canning revolution continues to grow! A couple of weeks ago, I met with Pateros Creek Brewing Company owner and brewer Steve Jones. He talked with me briefly about his plans to expand his business into putting his beer into cans. Steve wanted to get more of his product out onto local shelves.

Pateros Creek has plans to start canning using Mobile Canning LLC of Longmont later this year, sometime around summer according to Steve Jones. Steve initially told me that he plans to put his Cache La Porter and Car 21 (ESB) into 16oz cans initially.

While searching through the other day I spied something I didn't expect. Not only did I find an approved label for Car 21 for 16oz cans, I also found labels for their Old Town Ale (Rye Pale Ale) and their Stimulator Pale Ale (Kolsch Style Ale) as well.

So it appears that Pateros Creek may indeed be planning further ahead than originally stated. While I didn't see an approved label for Cache La Porter (assuming that was coming soon), it was nice to see the three other label designs for 16oz cans. You can check out these label designs below.

I can't wait to be able to grab some Pateros Creek brews at my local store. Can you?!
