Colorado Beer NewsToday is Be Nasty Day. We have to be at our best at all times, but once a year you just gotta get downright nasty. Be late, don't say hello, don't put up with anyone's crap, and give out an insult or two. We have the next 364 days to make up for it. Here's what's happening around the Colorado beerosphere today Thursday, March 8th, 2012.

Equinox Brewing (Fort Collins) - Today's Mushroom March Firkin is called Sunrise Golden Ale. It's conditioned with Shitake mushrooms from Hazel Dell. The tapping begins at noon.

Dad & Dude's Breweria (Aurora) - On deck for the taplines today are D&D IPA (Dank recipe #3), Toffee Coffee Stout, and Oli's Brown. Come try one of theirs or choose from a variety of guest locals on tap as well.

Arvada Beer Company (Arvada) - It's a Brewers Limited Release day today. At 4pm they'll be tapping a special unnamed brew that you just have to be there to find out what it is. Last week's brew was drained in just over 90 minutes. You won't want to miss this week.

Grimm Brothers Brewhouse (Loveland) - Souvlaki, Tsatsiki, and Falafel oh my. Stop by Friday at 4pm for the Giggling Greek as she will be serving great food from her mobile kitchen.

Pateros Creek Brewing (Fort Collins) - Entry #4 in their staff Outlaw Contest is tapping at noon today. Bangers and Mashtun, a version of our Rustic Red with lapsang souchong and fennel made by their sales rep Paul. It's like St. Patrick's Day in a glass and will be gone quick.

The Fort Collins Brewery (Fort Collins) - Get $1 off all growler fills today in the tasting room. Plus (Bow-Wouch) - a series of talks with the pain management and rehab team at Ft. Collins Veterinary Emergency and Rehabilitation Hospital in the Community Room tonight from 7pm - 8:30pm. Open to the public.

Freshcraft (Denver) - On Saturday, March 17th at 9:00am, Freshcraft will be hosting a St. Patrick's Day Beer Breakfast. They will be opening up early (9 am) so that you can get a good Irish style breakfast in before the St. Patrick's Day parade starts! They will be serving several Irish inspired breakfast options, Irish coffees and Irish style beers from American craft brewers. Stop in at: 1530 Blake Street in Denver.

Dillon Dam Brewery (Dillon) - Stop by TONIGHT for a great Dam night of live music with Something Underground! Great Pop/Rock that will get you dancing! And it's Ladies Night! Ladies drink free 1/2 pints from 9-11pm!

New Belgium (Fort Collins) - There's a new Lips of Faith Series sour beer coming out soon from New Belgium called: "Tart Lychee". It's a blended beer - 56% ale, 37% ale brewed with cinnamon, and 7% ale brewed with natural flavors and aged in oak. New Belgium's label describes this beer as follows: "To sweet and sour! In celebration of one of the greatest combinations ever. Lychee fruit brings tropical sweetness to the party hosted by Felix, our golden wood-aged sour beer. Cinnamon sticks were invited to spice things up and soare you! Get in on the tasty revelry that is Tart Lychee".

Bristol Brewing (Colorado Springs) - All of the generous charitable donations and community events for the Venetucci Pumpkin Ale have ended and Bristol Brewing is pleased to announce that starting today they have TEN Cases of Venetucci Pumpkin Ale they will be selling to the public. A 22oz bomber sells for $5.36 per bottle (tax included) and are limited to four bottles per person. This won't last long!
