Brad will discuss his book and offer info on routes he has guided and climbed in the area. Cost is $10 at the door and the proceeds will benefit the Ouray Ice Park.

Two Rascals Brewing (Montrose) - Thanks to a tip from a reader, the upcoming Two Rascals Brewing Company headed for Montrose Colorado now has an official address. They will be located at 147 N. 1st. They are currently applying for licenses and are in the process of remodeling their location. Look for news on an opening date coming soon.

Great Divide Wolfgang Doppelbock LagerGreat Divide Brewing (Denver) - Recently, Great Divide announced that they would be putting out a new Doppelbock sometime around the July 2012 time frame. Well now it looks like they have recently gotten label approval for their "Wolfgang - Doppelbock Lager". The beer is described as: "Originally sailed liquid bread,’ the doppelbock style guided monk through periods of penitent fasting. Wolfgang has heavenly notes of caramel, dark fruit, and toffee balanced by subtle hop character. While its revered history evokes an appreciation of austerity an sacrifice, this Doppelbock is a rich luxury – no repentance required." - Check out their label to get a sneak peek. This will be bottled in 22oz bomber bottles. (Image courtesy Great Divide)

Dillon Dam Brewery (Dillon) - The good folks up at the Dillon DAM Brewery are preparing for their 15th Anniversary. They've brewed up a "Burnt Brewer Smoked Black Lager" to celebrate not being able to keep up with the DAM demand for their beer. Stay tuned for details on their upcoming anniversary. They also have some Art of Science Schwarzbier from their homebrew winner on tap.

Breckenridge Brewery (Denver) - Their Ball Park Pub location on Blake Street will be closed for remodeling from March 18th through March 26th. When they re-open on March 27th, they will unveil a whole new look and a new extensive draft line-up of beers and also some barrel-aged cocktails. Look for their Grand Re-opening soon!

Great Storm Brewing (Colo. Springs) - This weekend marks the Grand Opening of Great Storm Brewing in Colorado Springs. They will be celebrating on Saturday, March 24th with $1 off all pints from 6-8pm. Free pizza and munchies from 6pm on with beer purchase while it lasts. Crooked Stave (Denver) - A reminder to their Cellar Reserve Members - this weekend Crooked Stave will be releasing their 1st release exclusively for members - Blackberry Petite Sour. Members can pick up their bottles at one of two different releases. On March 24th head to Falling Rock Tap House from 11am to 3pm. And on March 25th at Cured in Boulder from 11:30am to 3:30pm. The Mayor of Old Town (Fort Collins) - Tonight's Battle of the Beers starts at 7:00pm. In one corner, they have Dale's Deviant from Longmont's own Oskar Blues! In the other corner, they'll have the local Odell Brewing Co/The Mayor's collaboration beer called Fat Old Sun. Come on down tonight to participate in the free blind taste test!

Denver Broncos - Word on the street says that Peyton Manning is negotiating with the Denver Broncos and may end up here in Colorado. What does this mean for Tebow? This will spell the end of Tebrew most likely. Perhaps the Bull & Bush brewery in Denver should change the name of their Man Beer to "Manning" Beer. And what about that Sun King Brewing (Indianapolis) and Oskar Blues collaboration beer "Chaka" - was it an omen all along that something big was coming from Indianapolis? Dry Dock Brewing (Aurora) - Ruby Street Brewing, LLC is going to be outside in front of Dry Dock Brewing on Friday, March 23rd starting at 2:00pm showing off their 15 gallon brewing system. Duane Taylor from the Brew Hut will be available to answer questions and teach customers how to homebrew. If your interested in making the jump to all-grain this will be an excellent opportunity to see the process first hand!
