Mountain Sun (Boulder/Denver) - Spring is in the air, and the brewers are busily preparing our seasonal offerings set to hit all three tap boards in April and May. Vagabond IPA: 6.5% ABV. This was the final creative contribution from long-time brewer Nate Watkins before he headed off to travel the country. An American-style IPA, the Vagabond blends five American hop varieties and boasts an impressive aroma of grapefruit, tangerine and pine. Capital City Saison: 8% ABV. This brand new recipe will make its debut at the Vine Street Smokin’ Hot Anniversary Party on Friday, April 20th at the Vine Street Pub. With notes of ripe fruit and peppery spice, this classic Saison has a crisp, dry finish due to European and American hops. Pater’s Pale Ale: 6.5% ABV. Pater’s is a Belgian-style pale ale flavored with Australian Galaxy hops and hop-backed with whole cascade flowers. The spice from our house Belgian yeast blends perfectly with the floral and citrus notes from the generous addition of whole flower hops. In addition, look for these old classics to return to their tap boards: St. Amos Belgian Wit, Saison d’été, 1636 Belgian Dubbel, Hooligan Oatmeal Porter, Onslaught Belgian Imperial IPA, and Hummingbird Strong Ale.
