Expansion coming to Renegade Brewing Company

Renegade BrewingBusiness is booming for Colorado craft breweries these days. It seems not a week goes by that word of another brewery is making plans to either open it's doors or expand with larger equipment and facilities. Today, Renegade Brewing Company issued a press release announcing that they too will be expanding. See the press release issued April 17, 2012 below.

Expansion at Renegade Brewing Company

Renegade Brewing Company, located at 925 W 9th Ave, has been in operation for just 10 months now, but has already seen a tremendous response to their beers. With an expectation to produce 1200 barrels of beer in their second year of operation they are well past initial business projections. To keep up with production Renegade will be increasing capacity by 65%. Hellfire Welding, a Colorado based manufacturer will be supplying the tanks for the expansion. “We are very proud to support a Colorado based small business through our expansion”, stated Brian O’Connell, owner and head brewer of Renegade. “We have been overwhelmed by the support we have received from the community and we are excited to be able to pass that on to another Colorado business”.

Beer will continued to be sold through the taproom and to limited draft accounts, however, the main focus in the coming year will be on canning their beers. The first canned offering, Ryeteous, a rye IPA, will be sold in 16 oz cans and is expected to hit shelves in early June.
