Trinity Brewing (Colorado Springs) - Today, Trinity is brewing 2 new Farmhouse summer Saisons! First, Farmhouse Du Tomme, made with Amaranth, Grains of Paradise, rose hips, and lemon grass. Second, GOPrisais, brewed with Grains of paradise then aged on fresh apricots and Chardonnay grapes. Look for these brews within the next couple of weeks.

Pateros Creek Brewing (Fort Collins) - Chad Laszlo's beer is the 12th entry to the Outlaw Contest as PCBC begins the final stretch. Chad has decided to go with some complexity and make a rhubarb, roasted sirrano pepper, pineapple, Kölsch he calls “S to the T to the double S.” He stated that it was hard to get the different flavors to come out just right but after much trial and error, he finally got a combination that worked well. There seems to be a sense of pride coming from this one as the hurdles were achieved and what was left was a great tasting beer with some subtle flavors that play nicely together. A sweet, tart, spicy, smoky beer. Stop in to try this one of a kind creation. Tapping at noon, Thursday 5/10 and available until it is gone.

Strange Brewing Company (Denver) - Work on their new Biergarten continues. Gravel will be delivered tomorrow. And most exciting, today they received pictures of the wonderful long tables that will furnish the Biergarten. These tables are being built of beetle-kill pine harvested right here in Colorado. Get ready for some outdoor fun.

Gravity Brewing (Louisville) - Their new mash tun is currently being fabricated by Practical Fusion in Portland, OR. Judge Baldwin's (Colorado Springs) - Sad news: The last keg of their own beer at Judge Baldwin's will soon be gone. Focus on the Beer confirmed that the hotel-based brewery is no longer brewing its own beer. If you want a last taste, they still have some Yardwork Pale Ale on tap but that will soon be gone. The brewery sited that expenses were getting too high to maintain brewing. They were only producing extract beers which are inherently more expensive than all-grain beers. As of now, their taps will be filled with Colorado craft beers, just not their own any longer.

Rocky Mountain Homebrew Supply (Fort Collins) - Sad news, the three year old homebrew business is closing it's doors after this weekend. There's still a lot of stuff they want to get rid of. All grains and extracts are now 50% off and all other items are 30% off. They are running low on base malts, but there are still plenty of specialty grains. Get there quick, doors close after the close on May 12th. Located at 4631 South Mason Street in Fort Collins.
