Grimm Celebrates Spring with Maifest

Grimm Brothers Brewhouse
Loveland, Colorado – Grimm Brothers Brewhouse is hosting a family-friendly Maifest event for the entire community on Saturday, May 26 from noon-8 PM.

“This is an event for the whole family. We have lots of giveaways, food, and games for the kids,” said Russell Fruits, Grimm’s Beer Evangelist.

Of course, any good German festival includes beer too.

“Maifest, or May Fest, is a traditional German festival that celebrates the reawakening of spring after winter’s cold darkness,” said Don Chapman, President and Head Brewer, “And what better way to celebrate than a enjoying our new beer, Little Farmer.”

Little Farmer is a rich malty maibock, dominated by malty tones of pilsner and Munich malts. It is balanced by a warming alcohol finish and enough hoppy bitterness to create a clean crisp finish.

Grimm Brothers tap roomGrimm intends to have a May pole, games for kids, food from Bedrock BBQ, pretzels and beer muffins from Cramer’s Handmade Bread Company, and lots of door prizes and giveaways. In addition, Grimm plans to donate a portion of the profits to Relay for Life.

“It’s simply a great day of events for our community. We love being a part of Loveland, and we want to celebrate with our community,” said Fruits.
