Prost Brewing (Denver) - The new brewery is practically complete and almost ready for their opening. This week, work on their outdoor Biergarten is being done, called the perfect place to enjoy a Prost Pils in the evening. There fermenters are in place, their growlers have come in, and their huge red glowing outdoor sign shines in the Denver evening. They should start brewing early next week and target an opening date for end of July or early August. Some of their beer will be available at local establishments in July before their taproom opens.

Great Divide Brewing (Denver) - Tickets are selling fast for their 18th Anniversary block party at the brewery on Saturday from 2pm to 6pm. Tickets are available at Evenbrite and once they sell out they won't be selling any at the door. Cost is $25+fee. This party is to celebrate the brewery's success and thank all who have helped them since they opened in 1994. Look for an expansion near the end of the year with new tanks and 25% more capacity.

Pateros Creek Brewing (Fort Collins) - It's time to do something to help with this wildfire! Let's drink, eat, and donate to the cause! Victim support agencies need monetary $$ donations more than anything right now. This is the best way to make a difference! A $10 donation will get you a beer and a waffle. All proceeds will go to the local branch of the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, and the Larimer Humane Society, as well as other local relief organizations. It is a family-friendly event with fun activities and drawings for prizes from local businesses. Please come out this Saturday from 11am to 2pm to show your support for this community! Local musician Steve Ertl will be playing live music!

Oskar Blues (Longmont) - Earlier this week, Oskar Blues released a video on YouTube showing off their newly expanded Tasty Weasel Tap Room at their main brewery site in Longmont. They busted out a couple of big openings in the wall and put up a huge new patio, essentially doubling the size for seating at the Weasel. Check out the video.

Voss Farms Colorado (Arvada) - Very sad news - the High Park fire west of Fort Collins has wiped out one of Colorado's hop farms. Voss Farms reports: "Voss Farms lost a farm last weekend.... our 40 acre tree farm in lower Rist Canyon burned up (along with neighbors' homes in Pine Acres ). Our hop yard anchor posts are mostly from this acreage. We're not allowed to go up there yet, but here are some pictures of our area/friends places that made it or did not". Voss Farms grows hops for select front range craft beer brewers.

Grimm Brothers Big Bad Wolf Sticke Alt AleGrimm Brothers Brewhouse (Loveland) - Watch out Little Red, the Big Bad Wolf is coming for ya. The TTB recently gave label approval for a new upcoming limited release Fabled Series beer called Big Bad Wolf Sticke Alt Ale. This beer will be packaged in 22oz bombers. The brewery will announce a release date in the near future. Stay tuned for this one!

Wynkoop Brewing (Denver) - What's old is new again. One of their flagship beers, Rail Yard Ale, is getting a new look. According to Wynkoop: "The new design gives our flagship a fresh look and a new coat of paint in a red-enhanced hue. It adds extra shelf appeal to the can and matches it up with the bolder, less-cluttered look we employed on the B3K can." - These new cans are available now.

Atom Brewing Company (Erie) - The brewers gave us all an update on the progress of Erie, Colorado's upcoming brewery today stating: "Well other than filing for our license all the legal stuff is finally done. We are in negotiations for what will be a badass location (can you say HUGE beer garden), test batches are turning out great, adding to the lineup as well. We'll get the look at our equipment this weekend. Things should start accelerating at a good pace from here on out." - More news on this brewery as it comes out.
