Celebrate Summer the American Way as New Signature Event Loveland Loves BBQ, Bands and Brews
Comes to Loveland July 13 & 14, 2012
LOVELAND, Colo. – Engaging Loveland, Loveland’s Sertoma Club and presenting sponsor McKee Medical Center, have announced the complete lineup for a new summer power-house event, Loveland Loves BBQ, Bands and Brews slated for July 13 & 14 in the square block between Cleveland and Railroad Avenues and 4th and 5th Streets in downtown Loveland. This festival is free and open to the public.
As reported in January, Loveland Loves BBQ, Bands and Brews is the result of a merger between Engaging Loveland’s SummerFest in the Rockies and Sertoma’s Loveland Loves Barbecue, which previously occurred on the same weekend.
As Loveland’s unofficial ‘kick-off to summer’ event, Loveland Loves BBQ, Bands and Brews offers Loveland residents and visitors the opportunity to celebrate summer the American way – with live entertainment, local craft beer, vendor fair, family-friendly activities and of course, a variety of BBQ flavors and cuisine. This event also acts as a fundraiser for two local nonprofits, House of Neighborly Service and Larimer County Boys and Girls Club. While nonprofit organizations and associations themselves, it is important for Engaging Loveland and Sertoma to give back to the community.
“The giving nature and community feel found in Loveland are reasons that many residents and visitors enjoy the area,” said Kristine Koschke, executive director of Engaging Loveland. “This event meets our organization’s goals of celebrating Loveland’s community, supporting the city’s tourism efforts and giving back to those in need, all while presenting a fun summer festival for attendees. Who doesn’t love BBQ, brews, live entertainment AND Loveland?”
The event kicks off at 3 p.m. on Fri. July 13 and runs until 10 p.m. Attendees can also enjoy activities from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. on Sat., July 14. A complete lineup of live entertainment and activities are listed below.
