Colorado Beer News 070312

Colorado Beer NewsToday is Disobedience Day. It's a day to be nonviolently resistant to something you feel strongly against. A way to respectfully disagree. Today is your day to be disobedient to the ordinary macro beer and try something new from a craft brewer. Macro brewers may sell around 90% of the beer in this country, but you don't have to settle for it. Here's what's happening around the Colorado beerosphere today Tuesday, July 3rd, 2012.

Colorado Beer News is continually updated during the day (10am to 3pm) with new stories as they break, so stop back here often for all the latest. If you'd like to subscribe to this daily by email, sign-up here.

AC Golden Brewing (Golden) - Colorado has been hit with intense and severe wildfires in the last few months. In an effort show support for those fighting the fire and their friends, families and communities who have been impacted by the blazes, AC Golden's Colorado Native Lager is donating $1 for every 'like' that the great firefighter picture on their Facebook page gets. Up to $10,000 will be donated to the Mile High chapter of the American Red Cross to assist communities impacted by fires around the state. They're asking their fans and Coloradans everywhere to share that photo on their wall and help them give up to $10,000 to fire relief!

Pikes Peak Brewing (Monument) - July 4th marks the release of their America the Pale (and Beautiful) starting at 11:00am. Trinity Brewing (Colorado Springs) - After being closed for a while they are now on the catch up trail, they're working hard to make sure that all of your favorite brews keep all those smiles happy. They are still waiting on new labels to arrive for both of these bottles and TPS Report, but they will be announcing release dates shortly.
