Busy Festival Weekend (Colorado) - It's the heart of the beer festival season and there will be plenty of events going on this weekend. Perhaps one of these will fit your fancy. Starting is off on July 13th-14th is the 16th Annual Biergarten Festival in Morrison. Up in Loveland, Colorado it'll be the 1st Loveland Loves BBQ, Bands & Brews on the 13th and 14th in the streets of downtown. Then up in Breckenridge, it's their summer Breckenridge Beer Festival on Saturday, July 14th on Main Street. Then if you head down to Salida, Colorado, it's the 16th annual Colorado Brewers Rendezvous in Riverside Park from 1pm to 5pm. Twisted Pine is also getting in on the act and throwing a Twisted Pine 17th Anniversary Party at the brewery in Boulder on the 14th from 2pm to 7pm. Back in Denver, visit the South Pearl Jam Festival with lots of cold beer available. That's gonna be one busy weekend! Which event are you heading for?

Pateros Creek Brewing (Fort Collins) - It's Thursday and that means it's time for another famous Outlaw Tap at Pateros Creek. Today is an Asian fusion called Muay Thai - a K├Âlsch dry-hopped with Sorachi Ace and spiced with Thai peppers. The aroma alone is a combat strike! The brew taps at 11:00am.

Avery Brewing (Boulder) - This Sunday at 1:00pm, To kick off their 4th annual brewery-brotherhood bicycle ride, Avery will be hosting a silent auction and keg-kicking of their delicious Wheelsucker Wheat, brewed to commemorate the adventure! All proceeds from the keg and silent auction will go to Bicycle Colorado, and auction items will include gift certificates and gear from Deuter USA Backpacks, Native Eyewear, Pearl Izumi/Running, Boulder Running Company, SCARPA, and Zeal Optics!

Big Choice Brewing (Broomfield) - When you were a kid, your secret headquarters was an attic stocked with comic books and milk-crate chairs. Find a new hideout with today's deal from Big Choice Brewing: Pay $8 for a beer tasting experience for two (regularly $18). Sample four 5-ounce pours from this Broomfield brewery's six delicious options -- including I Want Wheat, Poblano Stout, and Disconnected Red Ale -- and then choose two full-sized pints of your favorites. Childhood pals Nathaniel Miller and Tyler Ruse have converted an unassuming industrial office building into a two-story brewery and fortress of awesomeness, with counters made from bowling-alley lanes and cozy couches in front of floor-to-ceiling mountain views. Bristol Brewing Co (Colorado Springs) - Head's up for this upcoming event. What's better than beer and brats?? Bristol beer, Edelweiss brats and dozens of beautiful vintage air-cooled VW buses! Join them on Saturday, July 28th from 11-3:30 for Bristol's Buses at the Brewery. Listen to live jams by "The Kelley and Randal Band", get in on a game of cornhole and drink good beer in good company. This is a FREE event, so grab your friends and family, they look forward to seeing you! Located at: 1647 South Tejon Street in Colorado Springs, CO.

New Belgium (Fort Collins) - There will be a special unveiling and toast of the Planet Bluegrass Summer Bliss Lager at the brewery tomorrow. Their friends from Planet Bluegrass will be in the Liquid Center at 5:00pm tomorrow evening for a special toast to the beer NBB brewed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of RockyGrass. Stop on by for some Summer Bliss because it won't be around long!

Crazy Mountain Brewing (Edwards) - Along with the recent announcement of signing a deal with Elite Brands for statewide distribution in Colorado, Crazy Mountain just got label approval for another beer. We can all look forward to soon sampling Scenic Route - Kolsch Style Ale in bomber bottles. It's a summer brew so it should be released soon.

Great American Beer Festival (October 11-13 Denver) - Has anyone sold you on this wild and wacky beer festival? Maybe you’re a long-time attendee who didn’t need convincing. In any case, here’s how you buy tickets to the Great American Beer Festival (GABF). The members-only ticket pre-sale begins July 31. Which members, you ask? Members of the Brewers Association and the American Homebrewers Association (AHA) are eligible to participate in the pre-sale. If you want to buy tickets during the pre-sale, you must join the AHA before July 27. Current AHA members—don’t forget to renew if you’re expiring soon! Only current members receive the pre-sale notice. The public ticket sale begins August 2. If you don’t already receive GABF news via email, sign up to make sure that you get the ticket sale notice. Check out the Ticket FAQ page for further details. All tickets are sold through Ticketmaster. Don’t forget, GABF is more popular than ever, and it will sell out quickly - as short as a few days.
