Pateros Creek Brewing Company (Fort Collins) - Looking for something different? Try their new Outlaw tap: Chocolate Chipotle Porter. It's got a big chocolate note with a smokey spiced finish. It taps just after noon and runs until it's tapped out.

Tap and Handle (Fort Collins) - The pub is hosting a local benefit this Saturday, July 28th from 11am to 9pm to raise awareness and support for Jeff Milan & Leukemia & the Lymphoma Cancer. There will be live music, beer (over 70 on tap), and lots of cool items to raffle, and it supports a great cause-families and friends fighting cancer for their loved ones. No cover. Family friendly. Just stop by and join the fun!

The Springs Beer Fest (Colorado Springs - August 11th) - Got your tickets yet? Over 50 breweries will be in attendance this year along with even more food vendors than ever before. Live music from Andy Clifton & Company and also J. Miller Band. It takes place in Antlers Park in Colorado Springs from 12pm to 5pm. Be there! Tickets available online.

Crested Butte Arts Festival (Crested Butte) - If you're up in the Gunnison / Crested Butte area the weekend of August 3rd through the 5th take note. Now in its 40th year, the Crested Butte Arts Festival features incredible art, fantastic cuisine, exhilarating entertainment, artist demonstrations, chef demonstrations, children’s activities and an art auction. There’s something for everyone at the Festival, where surrounding beauty, artistic talent, and appreciative patrons merge for one, glorious weekend. At the fest will also be a handful of Oskar Blues events, including the "Art of the Ride: Beer, REEB, & BBQ" on Friday evening, an Oskar Blues Beer Pavilion on Saturday & Sunday, a culinary demonstration with our head chef Jason Rogers, & a farm to table dinner with Jason on Saturday night. Dillon Dam Brewery (Dillon) - Head to the mountains tonight for live music from Strive Roots at 9:30pm. Plus, it's Ladies night and the gals drink free 1/2 pints of good DAM beer from 9:00pm to 11:00pm. Need another reason to drop by? Didn't we just say BEER?

Icelantic & Oskar Blues Kick Off Party (Denver) - Come down to Battery 621 Art Gallery (621 Kalamath Street - Denver) on Friday, August 3rd from 7pm to 10pm to celebrate Oskar Blues buddying up with an awesome Colorado ski company for the coming winter season & kicking off their 1st First Friday of the season. Live music, Oskar Blues brews & Colorado ski art. Check out their snow equipment at: A Passion Party for Beer, Skis & Tunes.

Awesome Toss 'Em Cornhole Festival (Fort Collins) - Don't forget to get your two-person team signed up for the big Cornhole tournament at Odell Brewing Company in FoCo on Saturday, August 18th from 11am to 3pm. Ska Brewing Company (Durango) - It's a Ska-B-Q! Tonight from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Listen to live music from Second Class Citizens along with $3 pints, $2 Tacos and some yummy burgers. A pint of Modus Hoperandi with your name on it is calling you.

Crabtree Brewing Company (Greeley) - It's now official - the Grand Opening of the new tap room location (2961 29th Street, between I-Hop and Harley Davidson) will be on Wednesday, August 8th at 4:00pm. The last day to stop by the "old" tap room & brewery will be Friday, August 3rd. Yup, that means no tap room for a few days in-between. Regular hours at the new location will be: Sunday: 1pm-6pm, Mon-Thur: 1pm-10pm, Fri-Sat: 1pm-12am. They can't wait to show off their new place!

City Star Brewing (Berthoud) - Things since opening day in May have been great! A new 7-bbl fermenter was installed and is helping them keep up with local demand. Stop in soon for 8 beers on tap (5 mainstay and 3 specialty). Coming up in August, you can look forward to trying these new brews: Ol' One Eyed Wheat, Berthoud Beet Saison, Country Pumpkin, and Chai Wallah Watchman.
