Euclid Hall (Denver) - Euclid Hall Bar & Kitchen will join with Left Hand Brewing Company on Monday, August 13th at 7:00 p.m. for a left-handed dinner and beer fest celebrating National Left-Handers Day. There will be nothing right-handed about this dinner. Guests are being advised to expect left-handed surprises throughout the night. While right-handed people are welcome participants, sinistrophobiacs should steer clear of 14th Street on this particular August night. Euclid Hall Chef de Cuisine Jorel Pierce has prepared a multi-course menu paired with favorites from Left Hand Brewing Company. Cost is $50 per person including tax and tip. The Fort Collins Brewery (Fort Collins) - Announcing the first ever Northern Colorado Brewer's Olympics! August 24th, 2012 from 4pm to 6pm at the Fort Collins Brewery. This friendly competition is a celebration of the unique Northern Colorado brewing community and culture in which teams from ten breweries will compete in seven tests of strength, agility, and stamina. The games will be followed by live music and as much revelry as they can muster. If that wasn't enough to get your attention, get a load of this: kegs from all ten participating breweries will be on tap and proceeds will be donated to A Puppy's Voice dog rescue. Hello, fun! Shine Brewing Company (Boulder) - There's a BIG Brazilian Festival happening at Shine this evening! Kids dance lessons 4pm-6pm followed by adult lessons, a Brazilian parade at 8pm and then live Brazilian music with Ginga tonight. They are even doing Brazilian food and drink specials! Lowry Beer Garden (Denver) - Calling all beer geeks, connoisseurs and sour heads! As of right this morning Lowry Beer Garden has 48 bottles of a very limited addition beer from Avery Brewing - Oud Floris barrel-aged sour brown ale. They probably won't last very long so leave work early if you want to try one!

Carbon Valley Music Festival (Dacono) - There is a free music festival going on in the town of Dacono, CO on Saturday, August 4th. It all begins with a parade at 11:00am. Live music from 6 different bands will play until 10pm when there will be a fireworks display. A beer garden as well as food and vendor booths will start at 12pm. There will even be a Spirits Tasting & Competition happening from 2pm to 4pm and also at 6pm to 8pm. Activities for the kids as well. Free parking and admission. Head to 123 S. Blue Moon Brewing Company (Golden) - According to a recent label approval, Blue Moon is preparing to release a new experimental brew called Proximity - a wheat ale brewed with the juice from sauvignon blanc grapes. This beer is part of their Vintage Ale Collection and is a keg only label. The beer weighs in at a hearty 8.5% ABV rating. Reportedly, from Beer Street Journal, it's headed for the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado.

Avery Brewing Company (Boulder) - Avery Brewing is celebrating their 19th Anniversary at a party at the brewery tomorrow, Sunday August 5th from 12pm to 5pm. Tickets, if still available, are available at: TicketAlternative and go for $50 VIP or $30 General Admission. With your ticket you get five 12oz Avery brews, live music, a big BBQ spread and lots of fun! VIP tickets also get you access to their barrel-aging cellar for five pourings.
