Boulder Beer Company (Boulder) is hiring! They are looking for a Sales Representative in Boulder, Colorado who can be a beacon for the brewery at retail accounts, lighting up doorways and fostering brand awareness and loyalty through strong relationships, event marketing and promotions. Awesome Toss 'Em Cornhole Festival (Fort Collins) - Heads up! Online registration will CLOSE next Friday, August 17th at noon for teams who wish to compete in the Cornhole tournament. Great Central City Beer FestivalGreat Central City Beer Festival (Central City) - What does a gambling town and brewing have in common? More than you think. Gilpin County is celebrating the 150th year of beer brewing in the county and they're throwing a party! Over a dozen local breweries will be on hand pouring around 40 different beers from 12pm to 7pm on Saturday, August 18th all along Main Street in Central City, Colorado. Author Dave Thomas is releasing a book "Of Mines and Beer" highlighting the 150 year history of brewing in Colorado and will be on hand signing books. The American Craft Beer Radio show will also be doing a live remote broadcast from the fest starting at 12 noon (Listen on 102.3 FM Denver). Come for the beer, stay for the fun. High Hops BreweryHigh Hops Brewery (Windsor) - Yesterday, High Hops Brewery obtained both their Federal and State licenses! Things are moving along fast now for this upcoming brewery. They expect to start brewing in preparation for their opening as early as this weekend! Stay tuned for more details on their target opening day - hopefully September. Bohemian Nights at New West Fest (Fort Collins) - Historic Old Town in FoCo will be buzzing with music,people and of course great beer all weekend long starting tonight and lasting through Sunday. The New West Fest will feature dozens of bands performing on 6 different stages. It's a free music festival and has something for just about everyone. Get all the deets at:

Dry Dock Brewing (Aurora) - Love to bake pies? Want to show off your skill? Come to Dry Dock's Pie-a-Palooza event at the brewery this Sunday, August 12th from 12pm to 4pm. Enter your pie into one of three categories: Berry, Fruit, or Creamy & Savory/Nut. Bring a pie, serving utensil & toppings. The judging will start at 12:30pm in their barrel room. Prizes awarded at 2pm. Wash that pie down with a great Dry Dock beer while your at it!

J Wells Brewery (Boulder) - Another milestone reached. The brewery just received their Federal license from the TTB. Now waiting on state licenses. Shouldn't be long now.

Great Divide Brewing Company (Denver) - First the bad news - no firkin today. Now the good news: instead they will be offering a very special pour today - The Wooded Wolf, which is an oaked Doppelbock. Stop by and give this one a try. They open up at 2pm today.

Oskar Blues (Longmont) - News coming out of today stated that Oskar Blues has some brand new packaging they will start using for their upcoming 10th CANiversary of Dale's Pale Ale starting in September. A promo to win a Bluegrass cruise will be included. At the GABF, they will reveal a completely new package. Also, G'Knight Imperial Red IPA will soon be available in 16oz canned 4-packs.

Oktoberfest in Colorado (Annual List) - The harvests are starting to come in, the weather will eventually (hopefully) start to cool, and soon towns and communities in Colorado will begin celebrating Oktoberfest! The first celebration has already been set for August 25th and the 2012 Colorado Oktoberfest List has compiled a spread of over 30 communities in the Centennial state that have Oktoberfest or harvest festivals planned. Check it out and plan to visit one of more of these activites. Festivals run from late August through early October.

Colorado Craft Beer Show (AM 760 Denver) - A lot of radio road shows for the Colorado Craft Beer Show coming up starting August 18th at Hops & Pie, August 25th at Arvada Beer, September 8th New Belgium Brewing's Tour de Fat Denver Stop, September 15th Telluride Blues & Brews Festival, September 22nd Oskar Blues Brewery's The Tasty Weasel, September 29th at our own Fall Beer Classic- 9/29/12 and October 13th Great American Beer Festival!
