Colorado Beer News 081512 continued

Welcome to Page Two of today's Colorado Beer News. With so much news going on these days it often needs a second page. Here's more of what's happening around the Colorado beerosphere today Wednesday, August 15th, 2012. More news being added to this page throughout the day til 3:00pm MDT. Lone Tree Brewing Company (Lone Tree) - The patrons at LTBC are so dedicated to their beer that the brewers are having to do 2 batches today during their brew day. They're making some Helles first and then will be brewing up a Double IPA. It's what they have to do these days to keep up with demand - and that's a good thing.

Bull & Bush (Denver) - Their 41 beers in 41 days celebration continues. Ever had a cherry pie in a glass? Stop in at B&B today and try their Kasteel Rouge - it's today's special beer in the 41 beers series.

Grimm Brothers Brewhouse (Loveland) - More news from Grimm Brothers. This week they will be brewing their malty amber lager specially made for their fall Oktoberfest festival. Look for the return of The Farmers Daughter coming up in September.

Strange Brewing Company (Denver) - Attention One Barrel Wednesday followers! Unfortunately the Hopricot will not be tapped today. The beer gods want it to condition another week. BUT! They will be tapping a special Honey Saison! Enjoy.

Hops & Pie (Denver) - Come join in this Saturday the 18th for the next installment of Denver's Littlest Big Beer Fest - this month featuring Elevation Brewing Company! Turk & Gubna from the Colorado Craft Beer Show will also be here broadcasting live on sight, don't miss the fun! Sample some Apis IV Quadrupel, Cabernet Barrel Aged Apis IV, Signal De Botrange (aged), Signal De Botrange (unaged), and Mount Blanca (Belgian Saison). Plus, there will be a firkin of Double Dry Hopped First Cast IPA. Available in flights & single pours.

Tommyknocker Brewery (Idaho Springs) - The harvest season happened early this year thanks to Mother Nature and possibly global warming. And because of that, Tommyknocker is pleased to announce the availability of their Small Patch Pumpkin Harvest Ale - now in 6-packs around Colorado.

Art and Ale Brew Festival (Parker) - Coming up this weekend on Friday, August 17th from 6pm to 10pm - it's the Art & Ale Brew Festival at The Wildlife Experience. This event features a dazzling lineup of musical entertainment, bountiful brews and tantalizing treats. Guests will soak up good food and frosty beverages from some of our finest local breweries and restaurants, and are welcome to peruse The Wildlife Experience’s galleries and exhibits that display the finest wildlife art and sculpture from around the world. Later, rock the night away with Denver’s own cover band, Flock of Beagles! More info at the official website.

Yak & Yeti (Arvada) - It's time for another Wheat Wednesday at the Yak & Yeti in Arvada. Today's special batch is their Raspberry Wheat which taps at 4:00pm today. These batches don't last long so their best caught early on. Stop in and taste one or try one of their many other craft selection on tap.

Avery Brewing (Boulder) - During the last presidential election, Avery Brewing put out a limited run batch of "Ale to the Chief!" pale ale. Now with the 2012 election looming, Avery Brewing will once again be releasing this brew for 2012 only this time it won't be in bottles - tap only. Look for it on tap sometime soon after Labor Day.
