Amicas Wood Fired Pizza (Salida) - Traveling through the High Country? Stop in at Salida for some great craft beer. Currently on tap: Bomber Blonde Ale, Ute Trail Pale Ale, Headwaters IPA, Rex's Amber Ale (all medal winners), plus Big S Brown, Honey Bourbon Brown, and Black Beard's Delight. Taste them all with their samplers and stay for some great food.

Parry's Pizza & Bar (Highlands Ranch) - Coming up on Friday, September 7th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Parry's in Highlands Ranch - it's Woodchuck Pint Night. Try some refreshing Woodchuck Summer or Woodchuck Private Reserve Ginger draft cider and get some glass to take home with you. Hard cider for a change of pace.

Colorado Craft Beer Show (AM 760) - Hey Craft Beer Lovers! Turk and the Gubna want to get you ready for the 2012 NFL season and the Denver Broncos while broadcasting at Arvada Beer Company this Saturday from 12 - 2 pm! They will have 4 tickets to the Broncos / 49ers preseason game on Sunday to give away! These are awesome club level seats. Get your chance to win by coming in and having a pint or two while they broadcast. They will also be talking to Right Coast Pizza who is throwing a beer fest that day as well and they will create a fall beer recipe on the air!

Grand Lake Brewing Company (Grand Lake) - Head up to Grand Lake this Saturday, August 25th for the 2012 Brews & Crews. Starting at 11am at Lake Park check out the Rowing & Stand-Up Paddleboard Exhibitions. Then stay from 1pm to 5pm for great beer and live music in Town Park. $25 for all you care to drink + commemorative glass. There will also be a car show in town as well.

Front Range BBQ (Colorado Springs) - It's Meet the Brewer Night featuring Andrew Sheffield from Crabtree Brewing (Greeley) at Front Range BBQ on Thursday, August 23rd from 7pm to 9pm. Listen to the brewer and try some of their award winning beers like: Menage A Trois (braggot), Berliner Weisse, Ginger Bee, Serenity Amber, Boxcar Brown and a special small keg of Barrel Monkey Brown (aged in whiskey + cabernet barrels). Three Barrel Brewing Company (Del Norte) - Their first 4 bomber cases are now out for delivery to Beer Keg Depot in Alamosa. Hop Trash IPA, Trashy Blonde, Burnt Toast American Brown and Black Copter Stout. More deliveries coming soon to Pagosa Springs, Durango, Salida, Buena Vista and Denver. In the area? Gotta try some!

Gravity Brewing (Louisville) - Take note: Gravity Brewing will be open Thursday through Sunday of this week. Come checkout their Double IPA and Belgian Blonde. Their Belgian Wit and Strong Pale Ale are still on tap. Thurs: 6-9pm, Friday: 4-10pm, Saturday: 2-10pm, and Sunday: 2-8pm.

Wynkoop Brewing Company (Denver) - Wynkoop's Orville is back on tap! Back for its second edition, Orville is their unique blended, barrel-fermented and barrel-aged Belgian pale ale. About half of the beer was fermented with brettanomyces in four wooden barrels, and aged in those barrels. The remainder was fermented in steel with a Belgian Trappist yeast before the two versions were blended to taste. Complex, artful and ultra-small-batch, Orville has flavors of pineapple, citrus, hay, “funk” and a restrained tartness. 6.8% ABV. You know you want to try it!

Funkwerks (Fort Collins) - This week while it lasts! Their specialty kegs for the week are Green Tea Saison and Chai Tea Saison! You know these ones are going to go fast! Get some on E. Lincoln Ave in FoCo.

Big Beaver Brewing (Loveland) is proud to introduce The Snarler! It's half the size of a regular growler at 32oz and therefore they are selling fills for half the price of their growlers! They are available in their tasting room starting today.

Crazy Mountain Brewing Company (Edwards) - Survived Ed Fest? Good cuz theres more fun coming from the Mountain. Friday: Live music from 6-8pm. Sunday: Peach IPA Tapping Party from 12-5pm! $2 pints of Peach IPA benefiting the Humane Society's Megan Councilman Fund non-profit. Get some.

Yak & Yeti (Arvada) - What is Kasuri Methi? Kasuri Methi is the Indian name for dried fenugreek. They spiced a Belgian-style beer they call Fenugreek Belgian Special. This will be released as soon as the Oaked Himalayan IPA first batch runs out. Fenugreek is used in all sorts of Indian and Pakistan dishes used either in the seed form, or the dried leaves. They really like the aroma of the dried fenugreek leaves as they smell sweet and remind them of celery, fennel and sweet onion. Don’t worry this weird description actually tastes awesome and is more dessert-like. Come give the FBS a try, it will be tapped early during the week (Aug 27th, 2012).

Oskar Blues (Longmont) - There's going to be a Hop pickin' party at the Tasty Weasel this Thursday! Come one, come all. Keep your hops & toss 'em in the bucket. Grab a beer an pick hops off of hop bines from their Hops & Heifers Farm. Thursday, August 23rd from 5pm to 7pm. Pick the hops and keep 'em OR leave 'em with them and they'll email you when the beer is made with the hops you picked.

Oktoberfest in Colorado (Annual List) - The harvests are coming in, the weather is starting to cool, and towns and communities in Colorado are planning their Oktoberfests! The first celebration has already been set for August 25th and the 2012 Colorado Oktoberfest page has compiled a list of over 30 communities in the Centennial state that have Oktoberfest or harvest festivals planned. Check it out and visit one of more of these activites. Festivals run from late August through early October.
