Gravity Brewing (Louisville) - While their official Grand Opening won't be until Saturday, September 8th, Gravity Brewing will be open today through Sunday for some early tasting sessions during their soft opening weekends. Thurs: 6-9pm, Friday: 4-10pm, Saturday: 2-10pm, Sunday: 2-8pm. Gravity Brewing is located at 1150 Pine Street, Unit B, in Louisville, CO. Gravity plans to have Double IPAs, Belgians, and even a Russian Imperial Stout by their grand opening. Stop in and say hello to co-founders John Frazee, Julius Hummer and Ryan Bowers. Mountain Sun Pub & Brewery (Boulder) - Now on tap - Addiction! This 9.5% ABV Coffee Imperial Stout uses a proprietary coffee blend by Conscious Coffee. Huge coffee and malt with flavors of chocolate, dark fruit, and caramel; deep dark and layered. Stop in to try a pint this weekend!

Eddyline Brewing Company (Buena Vista) - It's the pumpkin harvest season and despite it still being over 90 degrees in Colorado all week, Eddyline has been busy brewing up a batch of their Pumpkin Patch Pale Ale. Look for this brew to be on tap in the next couple of weeks.

Bristol Brewing Company (Colorado Springs) - Join the fun at their Shack It Up Party today from 6-8pm! They'll be celebrating the The B-52's at Springs Orleans (alley patio) with Beehive specials, B-52 drinks and giveaways including a chance to win tickets to the show, a meet-and-greet with the band and autographed swag! Come in costume (Love Shack-style or in your best Beehive) and you'll be guaranteed a prize!

Big Beaver Brewing Company (Loveland) - Don't forget this weekend is Buy 1 Get 1 Growler Fills! Rules and Regulations: there are none. They will fill any brewery's growler! If you only want to fill one growler, they will give you a voucher to use in the future. This offer is good this Friday, Saturday, Sunday 2-8pm August 31st - September 2nd.

Grimm Brothers Brewhouse (Loveland) - Guess who's coming to dinner? Chaulkboard Gourmet Express will be at the Taproom this evening. Billy is always cookin' up something great to enjoy with one of their Great Beers. Finish it all off with a Java Bites Espresso Cookie for dessert. Have you tried the Big Bad Wolf yet? It's a big imperial version of their Little Red Cap ale. Now available.

Dry Dock Brewing Company (Aurora) - Grats to Dry Dock for being named the Denver A-List Best Brewpub for 2012! Also, today marks the day that Dry Dock begins construction on their new production facility out on Tower Road. This means that more Dry Dock brews will soon be heading your way.

Denver A-List Top 5 Brewpubs 2012 (Denver area) - Rounding out the top 5 - Arvada Beer Company, Great Divide Brewing Company, Wynkoop Brewing Company and Parry's Pizza (Parry's doesn't brew beer however). Grats to all these winners for being voted for by their fans.

Denver A-List Top 5 Best Beer Selection (Denver area) - The voting results are also in for the Top 5 Best Beer Selection 2012 in the Denver area. #1st place goes to Cheeky Monk Belgian Beer Cafe, 2nd - Yard House - Lakewood, 3rd - Falling Rock Tap House, 4th - Hops & Pie - Denver, 5th - Ale House at Amato's - Highland.

Michael Jackson (Beer Writer) - Today marks the 5th anniversary of the passing of the well known beer writer Michael Jackson. He died this day on August 30th 2007. He is still missed by the international beer community. If you're out hoisting a pint today - give his memory a toast today.
