Boulder Beer Company (Boulder) - This year's Great American Beer Festival sold out in record time. If you're looking for tickets, Boulder Beer Company is giving away two pairs to the Friday night session at the Boulder Beer's Pub. Come in and register any Friday night or all day Saturday between now and October 6. Looking for another online contest? The folks at Applejack Liquor are raffling off a pair to Thursday's session here.

Pateros Creek Brewing Company (Ft. Collins) - If it's Thursday, it must be time for another Outlaw Tap. Today's Outlaw is called Wet Your Whistle. It's a wet hopped K├Âlsch infused with whole rosemary. This brew taps at 11am and goes til it's gone. More info check out

Equinox Brewing (Fort Collins) - Spicy September returns today at Equinox Brewing. At noon today they'll be tapping a firkin of O'rion Irish Red that's been conditions with Serrano peppers and lime zest. Better warn your taste bud ahead of time!

Grimm Brothers Brewhouse (Loveland) - Firkin Alert! Head to Grimm Bros this Friday when they'll be tapping a very limited one of a kind beer that's been cask-conditioned. This week they have a Coconut Porter. Sounds yummy and perfect for dipping a Java Bites cookie. This firkin will be available 'til it's all gone. The tapping will be at 4:00 pm and they close at 9:00 on Fridays.

Oktoberfests (Colorado) - In the mood for some Oktoberfest fun? Here's a list of cities that will be celebrating this weekend: Golden (at Golden City Brewery), Snowmass Village near Aspen, and Pagosa Springs (in Town Park). Celebrations are happening every weekend. Check for links to more info on the Oktoberfests page.

Hops & Pie (Denver) - Tomorrow is Firkin 1st Friday at Hops & Pie! Tim Matthews, firkin Master, is blending equal parts of Oskar Blues G'Knight, Deviant Dale's and Dale's Pale Ale, conditioning it in a cask and dry hopping the concoction with Simcoe. The result is an amazing brew around 7.6% ABV and 80 IBUs. Get some starting at 6pm September 7th at Hops & Pie - located at 3920 Tennyson Street in Denver, CO. Stay tuned for news on their upcoming anniversary event coming later this month.

Odell Brewing Company (Ft. Collins) - If it's the first Thursday of the month, then it must be time for First Thirst-days featuring oysters, peel n' eat shrimp and sea dogs from Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar at Odell Brewing. Grab some seafood and wash it down with a great Odell brew on tap right at the brewery. Food will be available from 2pm to 6pm today.

Yak & Yeti Brewery (Arvada) - In addition to their recently released LoonyToon Tripel (August 31st) and the small batch of Watermelon Wheat (Sept 5th), Friday at 4PM marks the release of their BROWN RICE AND HONEY ALE, the fall seasonal that has been much anticipated by those who tried it last year. It's based on an Northern English Brown. The beer is hardly recognizable from it’s base style after 60lbs of Clover Honey and 60lbs of Brown Rice are added to the beer. The honey brings a floral aroma and honey flavor whereas the brown rice lends more of an earthy spiciness. The beer comes in around 6.1% ABV and 26 IBU’s.

New Belgium Imperial Coffee Chocolate StoutNew Belgium Brewing (Ft. Collins) - As the weather turns cooler, the beers tend to get darker and New Belgium is planning a new Lips of Faith brew called Imperial Coffee Chocolate Stout. It's a big 10% ABV brew in 22oz bomber bottles that is made with coffee and chocolate added. Look for this brew to be released in the next month or so.

The Very Nice Brewing Company (Nederland) - The Very Nice Brewing Company recently debuted their Very Nice IPA on the patio of Tin Shed Sports/Salto Coffee Works on September 4th in Nederland! Crust. Look for more debuts of their beer before they officially open coming soon.
