Dry Dock Brewing (Aurora) - Have you tried their seasonal beers yet? Dry Dock has 3 of them to tempt your taste buds: Wee Heavy (Scotch ale) is on tap now, and Whale Tail Wit (with spices) and S.S. Minnow Mild will be available starting September 10th. Also, get ready for Docktoberfest happening on September 29th from 11am to 11pm. Live music, food and their German-style Märzen will be on tap. They also will have a Toasted Coconut Porter firkin on tap today at 3pm.

Big Beaver Brewing (Loveland) - Today is Free Flight Friday for CSU Students (over 21) and Faculty. Bring in your CSU ID and sample 8 beers for free from the 15 micro brews on tap. Even if you are a former CSU student and still have your old CSU ID around - they'll accept that too! Limit 1 flight per customer with CSU ID and 21+.

Brew At The Zoo (Denver) - Tonight is the annual Brew at the Zoo at the Denver Zoo. This 21+ only event features beers, live music and food in a unique setting. Leave the kids with the sitters tonight as this zoo event is just for adults! The event runs from 7pm to 10pm. General admission tickets for $70 are still available. VIP is SOLD OUT. Designated Driver tickets are $30.

Odell Brewing Company (Ft. Collins) - Are you ready for The Meddler? Odell's The Meddler - an Oud Bruin Ale releases tomorrow, Saturday, September 8th at the brewery and also in 750ml bottles. This beer had been aged in barrels for over 18 months. Sweet caramel up front with a clean tartness, hints of dark fruits, cinnamon and coconut. It's the perfect beer to celebrate #SourBeerDay with.

Recent Bottling Label Approvals (Colorado) - Here are a few of the names of recent label approvals from the TTB from Colorado breweries as reported by BeerPulse.com. Look for these beers to appear sometime in the next few weeks to few months. No release dates are available. No guarantee the brewery will release these beers this year.
- New Belgium + Brewery Vivant - Lips of Faith - Biere de Garde.
- Elevation Beer Company - First Cast IPA.
- Blue Moon Brewing - Proximity Wheat Ale.
- Blue Moon Brewing - Impulse Wheat Ale.
- Blue Moon Brewing - Juniper IPA.
- Blue Moon Brewing - Lemongrass Basil Ale.
- Odell Brewing - Haven and Hale Ale.
- River North Brewery - Hoppenberg Uncertainty Principle - Belgian Double IPA.

Oktoberfest in Colorado (Annual List) - The harvests are coming in, the weather is starting to cool, and towns and communities in Colorado are planning their Oktoberfests! The first celebrations have already begun and the 2012 Colorado Oktoberfest page has compiled a list of over 30 communities in the Centennial state that have Oktoberfest or harvest festivals planned. Check it out and visit one of more of these activites. Festivals run from late August through early October.
