Left Hand Brewing Company (Longmont) - During their recent Leftapalooza celebration, Left Hand Brewing was pleased to announced they raised $26,817.16 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Everyone who showed up to listen to the awesome tribute bands and drink some fine beer helped to raise this money - Congrats on this effort!

Vine Street Pub & Brewery (Denver) - This Saturday, September 15th from 1pm to 9pm - it's going to be their 2nd Annual Uptown Block Party and Brewer's Olympics. Vine Street will be closed to traffic between 17th and 18th Avenue for this event. Besides all the great beer available, there will be live music from Keith Mosley with Scott Law & Friends. Brewers from Mt. Sun, Breckenridge, Upslope, Wynkoop, Boulder Beer, Twisted Pine, Avery Brewing, Great Divide, Odell, Oskar Blues and Renegade will be competing to top honors. A free to attend event.

Bootstrap Brewing Company (Niwot) - It's an Oktoberfest release and celebration! Saturday, September 22nd at 3pm starts the activities. They will be releasing their Oktoberfest Märzen at 3pm. Live music from the band Hotfoot will start playing around 4pm. There will also be some great German food available and everyone gets $1 off pints for anyone wearing Lederhosen or Dirndls.

Funkwerks (Fort Collins) - Funkwerks will be releasing their Cherry Saison in 750ml bottles and on tap on Thursday September 13th. Stop by the brewery for a taste and take a bottle home with you.

West Flanders Brewery (Boulder) - This brewery that will open later this month has been busy brewing away getting ready for opening day. They are currently working on several beers including their Angry Monk, a big, funky Belgian ale. It should be ready for pouring on September 21st. Get ready Boulder! They're located at 1125 Pearl Street.

Oktoberfest in Colorado (Annual List) - The harvests are coming in, the weather is starting to cool, and towns and communities in Colorado are planning their Oktoberfests! The first celebrations have already begun and the 2012 Colorado Oktoberfest page has compiled a list of over 30 communities in the Centennial state that have Oktoberfest or harvest festivals planned. Check it out and visit one of more of these activites. Festivals run from late August through early October.
